彼がミカという名の次のデート相手と立川の公園で会うときまでには、彼はある木に関して言及して聡明そうに尊大に話せるようになった、「お釈迦様ははるか昔に、菩提樹のもとに座っている間にはじめて悟りを開いたそうだよ」
