>Japan's weeklies can carry some pretty sick stories, but few have stooped so far as the exclusive interview Asahi Geino (7/31) has run with a self-professed date rapist.

The situation is also worsened by the presence of men such as Kurokawa, who mistake successful wooing of a woman with rape. But Kurokawa sees no need to change his ways.
