SOLID BASS SYSTEMを搭載し、低音重視を謳うオーディオテクニカのヘッドホン。
側圧がそこそこあり、締め付けは若干きつめ。
折りたたみ可能で携行性にも優れる。
音質はまず低音重低音の深みと重厚さのある音が音場をしっかり支えるのが素直に心地よい。
中高音も低音に引っ張られずに分離されていて、やや尖り気味ながら明瞭さの強い一貫性のある音に仕上がっている。
突き抜け感に優れたところがあり、低音に頼りすぎない表現力の追求が見られて好ましい。
低音と中音の間にエアポケットのようなものが感じられて、やや不自然に思えるところもあるのだけ気になる。
しかしながら低音にボーカルを埋もれさせない確かな定位感と表現力は評価すべきと思う。
個人的には好みな音質で評価が甘いかも知れないが、この実売価格帯ではお値打ち以上と思う。
低音に支えられたしっかりとしたロックやポップスを楽しみたい人にはこのヘッドホン、おすすめです。
