【大】トンネルまでは地味な登り坂。
トンネル内は反対車線の歩道しか通れない。下り斜面だが、
暗いのと車のライト、風で意外と走りにくい。

トンネルを出ても、順行車線に戻るには最寄りの信号がある廻沢口交差点まで1.2kmほど歩道走行を強いられる。
(歩行者は少ないが、自転車・原付が登ってくることもある。)
トンネル出口すぐのスロープつき歩道橋で早めに渡るのも手。

R473で右折せず、直進し、↓の方向へ（県道381）

県道381を道なりに進むと↓の地点に。ここから先は県道415。

すると八坂ICに到着↓。ここを直進。

とにかく大井川橋を過ぎたら県道381を道なりに進む。
県道381の終点に県道415があるので、それも道なりに行けば1号に出れる。
県道381は地図を見れば想像できると思うが軽いヒルクライム。
ちなみに地元の人に道を尋ねた際に言っていたのだが、県道381は旧1号らしい。
※県道381の終盤の下り部分は工事中のようで、今後、この情報も役立たなくなる可能性大
　しかも道路のペイントを削り取って消してあるため、道が穴だらけ。下りはゆっくり走るのが吉。

【大】新屋交差点の信号を直進し、七ツ森神社交差点でバイパス高架をそのままくぐって高架下左側を走行。

*磐田バイパスとR１の下道の分岐（三ヶ野-岩井）
【大】順行歩道はグランドホテルで行き止まり、かつ車線は軽車両禁止なので岩井交差点で反対車線歩道に脱出しておく。
バイパス歩道のほかにも並行する道も使える。
