Your First 14 Days In-Game

      //Your First 14 Days In-Game

//First get yourself a drawstring bag. This is available from Marty’s Store in Black Dale and costs 1,000 gold (if I remember correctly ). You need this to hold your gems. Don’t battle any NCP characters without one, as you will lose any gems that you win.

//Next, make sure that you vote everyday for AP. This involves clicking some links, which can be seen at the bottom right of your web browser. You accumulate these and won’t lose them at each reset, as you will with other gratuities. AP can be exchanged for extra Energy, Mythril Ore, Faith Points, Strength or Agility. To do this, click the ‘use’ link next to AP under Financial Stats in Your Hut. I would, however, recommend saving all your AP until you have maxed your stats (more on this later).

//Start mining. At each reset (major and minor) you will be given 10 mining attempts. The cost of each attempt varies from day to day but the clan will give you 500,000 gold to cover the cost of the first 10 attempts. This should be enough and if you follow the guidance below will mean that you will start making a decent amount of gold from day 1. Don’t mine at lower than level 30 and try not to pay too much in tax. After you mine, go to the market stalls and sell everything that you got. With luck you should have either some Mythril and/or Nectar as well as some gems. Mythril sells at around 1.4 million gold and Nectar at round 400,000 gold. Check the markets and add your listing at the lowest price -1 gold. By selling you will release some profit and enough money to mine again after the reset. Try not to spend the profits as you will need them later.

//Do what you can to get up to level 20 then stop. The clan will provide you with weapons and armour to help you do this. You can battle Player Vs. Player (PvP) or Non Person Combat (NPC) monsters to help you gather experience to level up but battling NPC monsters with a dedicated NPC weapon will help you level up faster. Each battle will cost you 2 Energy. At level 20 use all your energy to train. Use the Medium Training facility. You are looking to max your Strength and Agility stats at 850 each.

Summary

• Buy a drawstring bag
• Vote for AP – save your points
• Mine – sell all the resources and keep the money
• Battle and train to level 20 then train your stats only

Here is a list of some of the more commonly used locations in the Countryside. If you discover anymore, please let me know To Move to the other towns you may also teleport by using the Cullis Portals after you turn 18 days old.
Quests

      Quests

Quests are journeys that you take through the game. There are several different quests and each one will give you a different reward upon completion. You can see how you are doing on each quest by checking your Quest Journal, which is a link available under the Your Hut link. The quests require you to walk around in the Countryside so you need to be over 14 days old and to make sure that you have lots of elixirs. There are more quests than this guide details so this section be updated as and when I get the information.

The Fishing Quest

1. Go to the Lost and Found shop in Silver Meadows and get the quest.
2. Go to location 78,76 in the Countryside and fish until you get the FISHBOWL.
3. Go to location 4,18 or 8,20 and fill the Water Bowl.
4. Go fishing and catch the 3 rare fish from between levels 6 and 10 fishing areas.
5. Return the fish to the Lost and Found store in Silver Meadows to collect the Emulet.
6. Find the Lantern, Matchbox, and at least one Match in the Countryside. You will need to search for the Lantern as the location is not fixed. It is somewhere between 0,0 and 43,43. When you get to right place, you will see a mound. Kick it to uncover the Lantern (you will need 2 Energy to kick the mound. The Matchbox can be found in Silver Meadows. Again the location is not fixed. Matches are picked up randomly as you move through the Countryside.
7. Climb up the Everdark Mountain in Black Dale to the Mountain God and choose your reward.
8. Refresh the "You're too high up" page to actually get your reward.

The Card Quest

Steps:
1. Go to Lost and Found in Silver Meadows & say You will help to get Cards.
2. Buy the Language Book from the Book Store in Silver Meadows (200000 Gold).
3. Go to 79,14 to trade the Language Book for a Spade.
4. Dig at these locations in this order: (2 energy needed each time):
4a. 8,19 to get 4 cards.
4b. 18,16 to get 4 more cards.
4c. 75,56 to get 10 more cards.
5. Go to 4,79 to get cards until you have 28 in total. You can use the "Countryside" link on the left-side of your screen to stay at the same spot.
6. Head to the Wizardwood Tavern in Blackdale & Steal from the Tip Jar to get the rest of the cards.
7. Go to Loast and Found in Silver Meadows to trade the Cards for a Rope.

Umbongo Side Quest - After completing the Cards Quest.

Simply go into the 39,49 and save the Girl in there. You will receive a Spring Rope, and you can go to the Umbongo shop in the 74,73

Notes:
You can also dig on the Everdark Mountains where you can find a map, a clover & a seed bag.

The Shady Guy and Trader Quest

I recommend doing this one as soon as possible. The choice of rewards are as follows and will dictate how you do the quest.

• Deluxe Lead Pipe and 50,000 Crystals.
• Deluxe Leviathan Blade and 50,000 Crystals.
• Dragon Scale Armour with 125 defense, +5000 HP, +25 Agility and Strength, +75% Gold and Experience gains.
• Dragon Scale Armour with 125 defense, +5000HP, +25 Agility and Strength, +150% Experience gains.
• Half Ring.

1. Go to the Tavern in Black Dale and speak with the Bartender then speak with him a little more.
2. After that go straight to the Shady Guy in Silver Meadow who will give you the Ring of Death. You might need to go into the cellar. I don’t remember exactly.
3. Go to the Countryside and kill 2 of each race. You will need to take their soul after each kill.
4. After you have all the souls (2 from each race) go to 78.76 and talk with some girl.
5. Then you need to go to Ryder Street in Black Dale to talk to the Witch.
6. After talking to the Witch go to the Ancient Ruins in Black Dale and go in the tent... then back to the Witch, then back to Salis Pool 78,76 in Countryside.
7. Next go to the Shady Guy in Silver Meadow again and then to 74.73 where you will find the UMBONGO SHOP. You now have 3 choices.

• Deluxe Lead Pipe and 50,000 Crystals.
• Deluxe Leviathan Blade and 50,000 Crystals.
• Choose to search for the trader.

8. Now you can choose what ever you want. I chose to search for the Trader by myself. If you choose to search for the Trader you will need some Roots and Mythril Ore.
9. Go to 4,40 and then to the Ancient Ruins in Black Dale and enter the tent.
10. Head to 16,16 and enter the Wooven Woods.
11. Click Enter the Wood, then Dig for the Roots.
12. To get the pure Mythril convert some of your AP (you have been voting everyday right?) This is the only time you should use AP for anything other than improving Agility or Strength.
13. To find the Trader you must search the Countryside between 0-0 and 25-25.
14. When you find him, choose what you want. The Armour costs about 100 Mythril Ore each and the Ring costs between 20 and 30 Mythril Ore.

Strategies for Levels

      Strategies for Levels

Level 1-20

First, see the guide to the First 14 Days In-game. Select a weapon and armour from the armoury and request them. I would recommend choosing a weapon that has +75% experience and gold gains. These weapons will help you to level up quickly as they give you bonus experience and gains against NCP monsters. The weapons that show -75% are more powerful and should only be used for PvP. Who you plan to fight will dictate which one you choose to use. If you want to level up quickly, choose the one that gives you the experience gains and battle the NCP monsters. If you want to beat other players around your level, choose the more powerful weapon. The basic weapons in the armoury (those without upgrades) should be used when you don’t wish to level up (when you are training your stats to 850:850, for example).

*Note - You will not get bonus gold or experience when fighting other players

Level 20 and 14 Days Old

At level 20 I would recommend using all your energy at each reset to train your stats to 850 Agility and 850 Strength. It will take about 6 months but it is well worth putting the time in now. Once you are level 10 the [[Legend Stone]] unlocks Medium Training and this is the one you should use to train. Training in the Clan Castle will give you a 5% bonus each time and help you reach max stats a little quicker. After training you will have a few energy left over to battle each day. Have a look at the scenario below to understand why maxing stats early is important.

Player 1 maxes stats at level 100 (850:850)
Player 2 maxes stats at level 20 (850:850)
Player 3 maxes stats at level 10 (850:850)

Now the players stop training and start to level up. Each time you level up you get an additional 1 Strength and Agility point.

Player 1 at level 200 (950:950)
Player 2 at level 200 (1030:1030)
Player 3 at level 200 (1040:1040)

Players who stop leveling early in the game and train will be stronger and quicker later on.

Some people stop leveling as soon as Medium Training opens at level 10 and max stats from there. It means they will have an extra 10 Strength and Agility points when they max their stats but it also means they have missed out on the opportunity outlined below.

At 14 days you are now old enough to head out into the countryside and have the level required (20) to access the Pawn Shop in Silver Meadows. Before going into the countryside make sure that you buy some elixirs from the Witch in Rydar Street in Black Dale. If you get killed in the countryside without elixirs you will stay dead until the next reset. Sometimes the Witch is not there so you may need to go back later. When you buy your elixirs, try and buy 50 to start with. After you’ve made the journey a few times you’ll get a feel for how many you think you need but it’s best to have too many to start with. Also, put your money in the bank before you set out. If you are killed in the countryside you will lose some money.

Silver Meadows is located at (25,25). Go to the Pawn Shop and buy gems, Nectar and Mythril at a discount. The first time you use the shop you need to pay but this is a one off. I don’t remember how much you have to pay but if you’ve been mining for a couple of weeks, you will have enough. The prices in the shop change sometimes but the Nectar and Mythril are usually available for less than the Black Dale market price. You can make a good profit by buying at the Pawn Shop and selling on the market. The gems in the shop are usually more expensive than on the market so I wouldn’t worry too much about them. The exception is the Crystals but check the market before you go.

The Pawn Shop also enables you to buy Opals. Opals are used to increase your Race Level. I would recommend that you use your profits from trading to buy Opals. You will also get Opals from battling [[NPC]] monsters and may get them from gambling on the Key Wheel in the Casino but buying them at the Pawn Shop is the most reliable way to obtain them. Buy as many Opals as you can each day and save them until you have finished maxing stats.

At this point you may decide to start keeping the resources you get from mining or you may choose to continue selling them. I would suggest starting to keep your Nectar. You can convert Nectar into Lucky Charms, which apparently increase your chances of good luck at the [[Shadow Church]]. It takes 10 Nectar and 10,000 gold to make one Lucky Charm. Some people say they are not worth it, some say you need between 11 and 13. Some people have lots, some only a few. Nectar is also use to unsoul Mythril weapons. If you buy a second hand Leviathan Blade you will need 50 Nectar to unsoul it. If you want a new Leviathan Blade, keeping your mining gains is a good way to start saving Mythril, which you need to buy it. If you want the clan to loan you an LB, you don’t need to worry about all that.

If you haven’t already, you might want to start fishing. Once you get a level 10 Fishing Boat and Rod you can pull in 10 to 13 million gold a day. [[Farming]] is another option but the returns are not nearly as good and you have to remember to harvest on the right day to get the best yield.

Finally, join the Shadow Church and touch the Wraithblde twice after each major and minor reset. Save your Faith Points until you have maxed stats.

Level 20 and Max Stats

You are now born again hard! If you’ve done all of the above you are level 20 (850:850) with thousands of accumulated AP points and about 6,000 Opals. Time to start leveling. Before you do, however, convert your AP to either extra Strength, Agility, HP or a mixture of all three (personally I would recommend all on Agility) and convert your Opals to 6 Master Opals and rank up to Race Level 3.

Select an NPC weapon from the Armoury and battle the NPC monsters in Black Dale with all your energy. You will be at level 40 in a matter of days. Remember to keep voting for AP and use it as you will. Again I would recommend using it on Agility.

Level 40 – 200

Get yourself a Leviathan Blade. Purchase one yourself or borrow one from the Clan.

At level 150 you will be able to equip Race Armour 1 (RW1). We’ll talk to you about that later as they are expensive and the clan cannot guarantee to provide one free of charge. If we can’t get one for you, we will contribute to the cost of your purchase should you want one.

Also at level 150 you can equip the Omega Blade or equivalent. This is a great weapon for PvP. Again we can discuss providing this closer to the time you need it.

300+

Training time again. More details on this to follow.
