**林道の説明
県道186号線の終点を右折し、道なりに真っ直ぐ行くと左側に駐車場と観光案内看板のある所、又はそこを過ぎ権現堂支線の所を左に行き暫く登って行くと中野線との分岐地点に起点標識があり、そこから奥武蔵2号線と合流する地点に至る舗装された林道で、奥武蔵グリーンラインと呼ばれる外秩父の稜線上を走る林道群の一部です。
支線として権現堂支線があり、合流する線として宿谷権現堂線、清流線、中野線、笹郷線、阿寺線、奥武蔵2号線があります。
