**概要
「テイルズオブ」シリーズの1作。略称はTOB。
世界観を『[[テイルズオブゼスティリア]]』と共有しており、『ゼスティリア』より過去の時代を描いている。

アニメ『テイルズオブゼスティリア ザ クロス』では『ベルセリア』を描く話があり、本作のBGMが使われた。
また「流浪のザビーダ」など『ゼスティリア』のBGMも一部そのまま使われている。
