**Weather (Updated)
-It became slightly chilly in the morning / at night (14 to 23 degree Celcius).
-A shirt is enough for a daytime. However it is little bit chilly in the mountainside or even in the city at night, so a jacket and light coat will be required.
-You may have some rain, so better to take umbrella if it is cloudy.
-Do not use high-heel. You will walk on the soil/marbles/concrete. </description>

      ----
***&amp;u(){[[Train guide&gt;http://world.jorudan.co.jp/norikae/cgi-bin/engkeyin.cgi]]}
Quite useful. Enter the stations you travel, and this will navigate you where to transfer, when you will arrive, etc.
----
***&amp;u(){Hotel to Kyoto Station}
Subway(15-20 min): from [[Kyoto]] Shiyakushomae Station via Karasuma-Oike.
City Bus (20-30 min):No. 4,5,17,205
----
** Between cities
***&amp;u(){Kyoto to Osaka}
Using JR is not a good strategy.
1) Walk to Kawaramachi Station (10 min) and take Hankyu railway to go to Umeda Stn (40 min).
2) Walk to Sanjo Station (7 min) and take Keihan railway to go to Yodoyabashi (50 min)
***&amp;u(){Kyoto to Nara}
Go back to Kyoto Station (by subway or city bus), then take JR Nara line (45 min) or Kintetsu railway (35-45 min)
***&amp;u(){Kyoto to Kobe}
Go back to Kyoto Station (by subway or city bus), then take JR Tokaido line rapid train (50 min)
----
**In the cities
***&amp;u(){Kyoto Area}
City bus is the best to hop around. Buy [[City Bus All-day Pass&gt;http://www.city.kyoto.jp/koho/eng/access/transport.html]](500 JPY)
[[Public Transportation (General) &gt;http://kyoto.j-hoppers.com/j_traveltips.html]]
Check this [[City Bus Map &gt;http://www.city.kyoto.lg.jp/kotsu/cmsfiles/contents/0000019/19770/bus_navi_en200801.pdf]] focusing on No. 100(East), 101(West), 102(btw East/West)
***&amp;u(){Osaka Area}
[[Osaka]] subway is the best. Recommend to buy [[One-day Pass &gt;http://www.kotsu.city.osaka.jp/foreign/english/ticket/index.html]] (850 JPY)
JR circular line is also useful.
***&amp;u(){Nara Area}
***&amp;u(){Kobe Area}
