- 1973年 ケルン生まれ（国籍：トルコ共和国）
- 1995年9月 イリノイ工科大建築学専攻卒業
- 1996年9月 イスタンブール工科大建築学専攻卒業
- 1997年9月 プリンストン大学数学部講師（wikipedia日本版によれば、プリンストン大学におけるセルカン氏の研究テーマは『4次元の家』とのこと）
- 1999年2月 バウハウス大学建築学修士課程修了
- 2000年 鹿島建設株式会社 東京大学より実務交換留学として建築設計エンジニアリング部所属。ならびに宇宙開発設計部・部長就任（http://www.suku-noppo.jp/onigiri/sanka.html での紹介より）
