Ellie: Isaac! Where's Robert? Is he...

• Isaac! Robertはどこ？彼は…

Isaac: I shot him, Ellie.

• 俺が撃ったよ。Ellie。

Ellie: What?!?

• なんですって?!?

Isaac: I'm sorry - I had no choice.

• すまない。他に選択肢は無かった。

Carver: Norton betrayed us, Ellie. He was ready to kill us! Isaac did what he had to do to save the mission.

• Nortonは俺達を裏切った。奴は俺達を殺すつもりだった！Isaacはミッションの遂行のためにやらなければいけない事をやったまでだ。

Ellie: I...

• 私・・・

Carver: Ah, come on. We gotta keep moving.

• さぁ、行くぞ。進み続けるんだ。

Santos: Now there are only four of us left! I can't do this!

• ここに居るのはもう私達4人だけよ！こんなの無理よ！

Carver: Then we leave you behind. If you can't keep your head, you're a danger to everybody.

• なら俺達はお前を置いていくぞ。お前が冷静でいられなければ皆を危険に晒すことになる。

Santos: You're horrible!

• 最低！

Isaac: Nobody's leaving anybody.

• みんな誰も置いてかないさ。

Isaac: Now come on. Let's get to the top of this mountain. Together! Together.

• さぁ行こう。この山を登りきるんだ。一緒に！一緒に。

崖登り開始

Isaac: We're going to start an avalanche if we all try to climb this.

• 皆で登ると雪崩が起きてしまうぞ。

Santos: What do we do?

• どうすればいいの？

Isaac: I'll climb up first and have a look around. Maybe there's a safer route.

• 俺が最初に登って周囲を探して見る。多分、安全なルートがあるはずだ。

登山道

Isaac: Ellie, come on. Norton was pointing a gun at my face. I'm sorry.

• なあEllie、頼むよ。Nortonは俺に銃を向けてきたんだ。悪かった。

Ellie: Is that supposed to make it okay? You never believed in me, or this mission, or us. I had to go find someone else to help me, and now he's dead. You've sabotaged it, just like everything else.

• だから撃ち返したのは問題ないとでも言うの？あなたは私も、この任務の意義も、私たち全員でさえも信じてなかった。あなたがあんなだったから私は手助けしてくれる誰かを捜しに行く羽目になって、だのに彼は死んでしまった。あなたが台無しにしたのよ、他のものと同じようにね。

Isaac: What's that supposed to mean? Is that what you really think?

• どういう意味だ？本気でそう思っているのか？

Ellie: Yes! They brought you here at gunpoint I guess that's what it took.

• もちろんよ！ここまで背中に銃を向けられながら連れてこられて、そのせいでこうなったって言うんでしょう。

Isaac: I'm not here because someone put a gun to my head.

• 俺は銃を向けられて嫌々やってきたわけじゃないんだぜ。

Ellie: Yeah well Norton's dead because someone put one to his.

• ええ、Nortonは誰かさんが銃を向けたお陰で死んでしまったけどね。

カーゴケージ発見

Isaac: Guys, I found a cargo cage. But it's wedged into the cliff. I'll try to free it and send it down.

• おい、貨物ケージを見つけたぞ。だが引っ掛かってるな。俺が何とかしてそっちに送るよ。

Isaac: Ellie, you hear me?

• Ellie、聞いているのか？

Santos: We see it. Come on Ellie.

• こちらからも見えるわ。行きましょう、Ellie。

Isaac: The cage is on its way now. Ellie, can you see it?

• 貨物ケージがそっちに向かってるぞ。Ellie、見えてるか？

Isaac: Ellie?

• Ellie?

Santos: Oh God! Look out!

• あぁ！奴らが来たわ！

Ellie: Santos, get behind me!

• Santos、こっちよ！

Carver: Ah shit, try to drive it away!

• くそッ！追い払え！

Isaac: ELLIE?!

• ELLIE？！

Isaac: Ellie! Ellie! Come in! Ellie!

• Ellie！ Ellie！ 応答しろ！ Ellie！

崖登り終え直後

Santos: Isaac! We're okay, we drove it off.

• アイザック！今のところは大丈夫よ、撃退したわ。

Isaac: Oh thank god.

• ああ、よかった・・・

Santos: Look, about Robert... I just don't understand why he would try to kill you?

• そういえば、ロバートのことなんだけど・・・私には分からないわ、どうして彼はあなたを殺そうとしたの？

Isaac: He blamed me for all the trouble we're in. He kept pushing to go home, I kept pushing to stay.

• 俺たちが抱えている問題は全部俺のせいだと・・・そう言ってた。あいつは帰りたかった。俺は留まりたかった。

Santos: But the mission is all that matters. I thought Robert understood that.

• でもこの任務はなにより重要なことなのよ。Robertもそれは分かってたと思っていたけど。

Isaac: Well, I'm here for you. I mean that.

• 少なくとも俺は君達のためにここにいる。分かってくれ。

第2リフトポイント発見

Isaac: Ok...I found another lift point. Still no winch. You guys alright?

• よし…別の昇降装置を見つけたぞ、まだウインチはついてないが。皆、無事か？

Ellie: So far. We're just at the cage.

• ええ。今ちょうどそのケージのところにいるわ。

Isaac: It's infested pretty bad up here. I hope I find a winch soon.

• 荒れてやがるな（注：視界が見えないほど吹雪いていることに対して）。すぐにウインチを見つけてやる。

Ellie: Isaac...just be careful. I don't need to lose both you AND Robert in the same day.

• Isaac…気をつけて。私は同じ日にあなたとRobertを失いたくないの。

Isaac: Thanks Ellie.

• ありがとう、Ellie。

ウィンチ発見

Isaac: I found the winch. I'm gonna start it up!

• ウインチをみつけたぞ、起動させる！

Isaac: Hang onto something.

• しっかりとしがみついてろよ。

Santos: Wait, I don't like this.

• 待って、怖いわ。

Isaac: Just talk to me, and don't look down. What's our next step.

• 俺と話す事だけに集中するんだ、下を見るんじゃない。俺たちは次にどうすればいい？

Santos: Well, we now know that, in order to turn off the Machine, we'll need some sort of key. The reseachers called the "Codex".

• えぇ…例のMachineを止めるために、鍵となるものが必要なのは分かってるわね。"コデックス"と呼ばれているものが。

Isaac: Okay, so where is it?

• あぁ、それはどこにあるんだ？

Santos: We have to make one.

• 作るのよ。

Isaac: And how do we do that?

• どうやって？

Santos: The same way they did 200 years ago: with Rosetta's research.

• 200年前と同じ方法よ。Rosettaの研究資料でね。

Santos: Oh my god!

• あぁ！

Isaac: Take it easy! Just a blown fuse. Maybe I can divert power from the lights.

• 落ち着くんだ！ヒューズがとんだだけだ。ライトの電力を分けられると思う。

Isaac: So tell me about this "Rosetta".

• それで…"Rosetta"について教えてくれ。

Santos: Well, we don't know much. Just that the Codex was made from her research.

• まだ分からないわ。でも彼女の研究資料からコデックスを作れるはずよ。

Isaac: Where will we find it?

• その資料は、どこにあるんだ？

Santos: In the facility at the top of this mountain.

• この山の頂上にある研究施設の中よ。

Isaac: Great. See? We're almost done.

• よし。あと一息だ。

ケージ到着

Ellie: See, that wasn't so bad.

• 悪くない乗り心地だったわね。

Santos: Not bad? I was crying the whole way! Just get me some solid ground under my feet.

• 悪くないですって？私は怖くて泣きつづけていたわ！地に足が着くって気持ち分からないのかしら。

(SnowBeast襲来)

Santos: Oh god! Help me! Isaac!

• あぁ！助けて、Isaac！

Isaac: Santos! Carver! Give me a hand!

• Santos！ Carver、手伝え！

Carver: Fuck.

• クソッ。

Carver: It's too heavy!

• お、重すぎるッ！

Isaac: No, no, I got her.

• 駄目だ、彼女を助けるんだ。

Santos: Isaac! Don't let it take me! Please! Help me!

• Isaac！私を見捨てないで！助けて、お願い！

Carver: Isaac! It's gonna take the whole cliff face down, and us with it!

• Isaac！俺たちも道連れになるぞ！

Isaac: No! I can reach her! Just hang on to the winch! Santos! Give me your hand!

• 駄目だ！彼女を助けるんだ！Santos！手を伸ばせ！

Carver: Isaac, it's too late for that!

• Isaac、もう手遅れだ！

Isaac: Take it!

• まだだ！

Isaac: Carver! No. Nooooooo!

• Carver！よせ、やめろぉぉぉぉぉぉ！

Santos: Isaaaaaaaaaac!

• Isaaaaaaaaaac！

Isaac: I had her! Goddammit! I had her!

• 彼女を救えたのに！畜生！彼女を救えたのに！

Carver: It was gonna take us all down with it!

• 俺たち全員が死ぬところだったぞ！

Ellie: Isaac, the cliff is falling apart

• Isaac、崖が崩れてきてるわ！

Carver: Come on! Dammit! Give me your hand!

• ほら、何してる！行くぞ！

Isaac: I promised her! I could have reached her! If I just had another second.

• 俺は彼女と約束したのに！彼女を救えたんだ！あと少しで！

崖下へ落下

Ellie: Isaac?!

• Isaac！？

Isaac: She's gone, Ellie!

• 彼女は死んでしまった。Ellie！

Ellie: Isaac, it was pulling the whole cliff down. You couldn't have saved her.

• Isaac、崖全体が崩れるところだったのよ。彼女は手遅れだったのよ。

Ellie: Can you can get back up here?

• こっちに戻ることができる？

Isaac: Yeah, I think there's a way up around the side.

• あぁ、何かまわりにその方法があると思う。

Carver: Hey, use that generator to get those harpoons working!

• おい、銛が発射できるように発電機を使え！

Carver: Try to lure him to those tracking lasers!

• トラッキングレーザーのところまでおびき出せ!

Carver: Use the torque control, quick! He's gonna break free!

• そのトルクコントロールを使え! すぐに! 逃げ出しそうだぞ!

再び合流

Ellie: Hey, it's alright. Shhh... You're a good man, Isaac. You did everything you could.

• ねぇ、何も恥じる事はないの。あなたは立派な人よ。あなたは精一杯やったわ。

Isaac: No, no I didn't... I gave up, Ellie. I'm so sorry.

• 違う、そんなんじゃない。俺は駄目な奴だ…Ellie、すまない。

Carver: This must be the place.

• ここが例の場所か。

Carver: But how the hell do we find this "Rosetta"?

• だがどうやって"Rosetta"を探すんだ？

Ellie: She must have a lab up there someplace. We should look for an office, or a set of files... anything with her name on it.

• どこかに彼女の研究室があるはずよ。彼女のオフィスを探すか、資料とか、彼女の名前が書かれているものならなんでも探しましょう。

Ellie: We can take that to the entrance. Come on!

• あれで入り口までいけるわ。行きましょう！
