They admitted inventing its kinky features, or rather deliberately mistranslating them from the original gossip magazine. |
In fact, this is far from the general Japanese' behavior or sense of worth. |

Hot Dog Press 9/25 By (TI) Takeshi Ito
They are weird. Not only do they look loose, their minds are also loose.
Their ways of thinking and behavioral patterns are nothing short of radical by traditional standards.
Hot Dog Press takes a penetrating look at this incomprehensive new breed.
To start with, the magazine, catering to libido-driven young men, gives a name to the group under focus -- yurui onna (loose women).
These women, reminds the magazine, are readily identifiable by their loose and suggestive uniforms consisting of cut-off T-shirts or tank tops, tight mini skirts, men's briefs partially exposed by intentional unzipping of the skirts' front buttons and "leg warmers," or loose-fit socks.
Aged 14 to 18, these teen-agers have values that correspond with their looks.
According to Hot Dog Press, they have no qualms about making love with a new acquaintance, but abhor the idea of having a steady boyfriend.
They have a habit of breaking promises at the last minute but are perfectly guilt-free.
The magazine adds that their economic sense is bizarre, thanks to "papas" or male patrons twice or three times their age who buy them expensive brand clothing and accessories in exchange for dating them or giving them sexual gratification.
There is even a sub group called "Chanelers" who won the monicker for co-ordinating Chanel bags and sunglasses with loose fashion, informs Hot Dog Press.
In the feature, loose women are analyzed from many angles.
According to Hot Dog Press, a magazine that has always tried to analyze and pigeonhole women for male readers in need, loose women are the latest reincarnation of trend-conscious girls.
Just a year ago, they took a different identity of kogyaru, known for carrying beepers and making profits by selling school uniforms and used underwear to fetishist shops.
The same high-school girls became loose at the beginning of the year under the effect of increasingly popular reggae and house music, insists the magazine without explaining the relationship between music, fashion and behavior.
Known for its practical hints, Hot Dog Press offers many suggestions for young men hopelessly attracted to loose women by quoting the elusive girls.
"I can't trust those guys who smoothly pick up room keys at the front desk of love hotels," reveals Reiko Katsumata, 15.
"They should act a little shy."
Seventeen-years-old Shinobu Nodera disagrees.
"Just tell me you want to sleep with me. I like the direct approach," she says.
"Or,I can call tere-kura (telephone clubs) and find a sex partner myself.
There are many ways for me to secure a man when I want one."
