My research interest is both marine and freshwater ecology and biodiversity; and associated abiotic factors. Biological invasion and its impact on endemic biota at intertidal ecosystem are increasing throughout the world. Sometimes, marine biological invasion negatively impact on local biodiversity and economics.
I am presently performing research on “Early phase of invasion of Balanus glandula along the coast of Eastern Hokkaido: changes in distribution, recruitment and interaction with native species”.
