***キャンペーンモードとは
ストーリーがあり、話に沿ってゲームを進めるモードです。
マップなどは完全にランダムのため、繰り返しやっても同じプレイをできるとは限りません。
セーブできるのはキャンペーンモードだけです。


***キャンペーンの導入部分のお話
「うぅ…」
「いったいここで何があったんだ」

… （しばらく歩く）

「何の音だ？」
「うあああああああああああああああああ！！！」（襲われる）
（発砲音、襲ってきたモノは排除される）
「神よ、おお神よ！」
助っ人「大丈夫か？怪我は無いか？」
「な…何事だ！？あんたは誰！？」
助っ人「あんたは武器を持ってないな？そこのキャビネットに確かナイフがあったはずだ。」
「俺は最後に意識が遠のいたところまでは覚えているが…」
助っ人「そうか。悪い知らせだが、今この世は地獄になろうとしている。」
助っ人「先ほどのような感染者がそこらじゅうにあふれているんだ。」
助っ人「この浄化の研究をしている科学者がいて、そいつの秘密のラボがどこかにあるらしい。」
助っ人「そいつを見つけるために俺は数人の仲間と行動していたが…今は俺だけになってしまった。」
助っ人「手伝ってくれるなら、アイテムを集めながら俺についてきてくれ。」


（マップ画面に移る）
これはマップだ。俺たちの周辺のノードを見ることができる。
俺の探している科学者は東のほうにいるらしい。
青色のノードは拠点として使え、灰色のノードは安全に通行でき、赤のノードには感染者が蔓延っている。
（画面左上を指し）ここで、今手元にある資源が確認できる。
ガスはノード間の移動に必要であり、食糧は我々の命綱だ。
材料を見つけ持ち帰ると、それらから新しい武器やアイテムを作ることができる。
（画面右下を指し）ここには役立つヒントが表示される。
本題のラボ探しに戻ろうか。

男「俺はその場所を知っている…いや、どこを探せばいいかを知っていると言ったほうがいいか。」
男「今は亡き俺の友がそこで働いていて、ここはそいつの家なんだ。」
男「この家のどこかに秘密のラボの場所を示すファイルが三つ隠されていて、その中の一つが本物だと聞いている。」
男「俺はそいつを探しに来たんだが、感染者がいて入れないんだ。それとたぶん警報装置も生きてるだろう。」
男「俺が家捜しをする間、あんたらは感染者から俺を守ってもらいたい。」
男「どうか手伝ってくれないか？」

「悪くないね。手伝おう。」

男「ああ、助かるよ！あんたの後についてくよ！」

（三つのファイルを見つけたあと）

博士「うむ、タイソンは私だ。君は？」

「俺たちは●人で行動している生存者だ。」
「博士、あんたがこの地獄の解決法を研究していると聞いて来たんだが。」

博士「武装はしているか？」

「なぜそんなこと？」

博士「ラボの扉を操作すると、ヤツらはそれに気づいて押し寄せてくるのだ。」

「ああ、問題ないよ。もう数え切れないほどヤツらの相手をしてきたからな。」

博士「なるほど準備は万全なようだな…では扉を開けよう。」

「よし、迎え撃つぞ！」

博士「その場を守るんだ」
博士「第一のロックを解除！」
博士「第二のロックを解除！」
博士「開いたぞ！さぁ入るんだ！」
博士「早く！急げ急げ！」
博士「扉を閉じるぞ！ヤツらから離れるんだ！」
博士「ふぅ…激しかったな…。さて、オフィスに来てくれ。会おうじゃないか。」

博士「さて、我々のしてきた研究が無意味なことでは無かったと信じたい。」
博士「そう…おそらくだが、浄化はできない。治療法はないんだ。」
博士「彼ら…いや、それらは…既に人ではなく、人に戻ることもできない。」
博士「ただ一つの浄化方法は、殲滅だ。君たちが探してきたものに対し、私にできる提案はこれだけだ。」

「どうやって？俺たちは数え切れないほどヤツらを殺してきたが、一向に減ってるようには見えないぞ。」

博士「彼らは実際には卵から生まれていて、卵は一つのソースによって"植えつけられて"いる。」
博士「ソースは全ての始まりであり、その生物はテレキネシスのような能力を使うことができる。」
博士「それはつまり、ソースはどこにでもヤツらを生み出すことができるのだ。」
博士「ソースが死ぬことで、それは証明されるだろう。」

「ソースはどこに？」

博士「君の立っている場所は、ヤツのほぼ真上に位置している。」
博士「この世が地獄になる少し前に、我々はヤツを捕らえ、このラボに閉じ込めたのだ。」
博士「当時、我々はヤツの能力のことを知らなかった。」
博士「そしてある日、そこら中で多くの感染者が発生したのだ。」
博士「我々は何の準備もしておらず、下で働いていた者は皆死んでしまった。」
博士「そこは今荒れ放題で、ヤツはまだ最深部の高セキュリティエリアにいるはずだ。」
博士「多くの壁は破壊され、今や迷路になっている。」
博士「もし君たちがヤツの元まで辿りつけたなら、必ずヤツの息の根を止めてもらいたい。」
博士「ヤツが死ぬことで、感染の拡大は止まるはずだ。」
博士「このリフトはそこに通じている。気をつけてくれたまえ。」
博士「我々はいくつかの治療アイテムを投げ込んだが、おそらく使われないまま残っていることだろう。」
博士「幸運を！」

「では、気をつけて行くとしよう。」
「動くものは全て敵だ。気を抜くなよ。」
