Byesford Labs is an abandoned laboratory dungeon under Byesford Castle. It is recommended to bring 6+ people to complete the dungeon, as many parts require multiple people and zombie spawn rates are very high. It is the hardest non-elite dungeon, and is debate-ably harder than some of them. The legendary items Rubber Shield and Overkill can be obtained here.

Rumors(top)

According to GuardenGnome, Byesford Labs was a place where scientists were trying to find a cure the zombie plague, but somehow made it worse. The labs were then overrun by outbreaks of zombies and turned into the dungeon of today. This is most likely the place where the zombie pigman was created, due to logs of scientists, the abundance of pig heads and also a pig testing lab with zombie pigmen and their heads.

Walkthrough(top)Reception (Difficulty: 1/10)

• Once you are here get two of your people to stand on the pressure plates, then get them off, the doors will open, proceed.

Accessing sector D-6 (Difficulty: 3/10)

• Once you walk through the door go in the room immediately to your right, at the back there will be two wooden pressure plates on a bookshelf. Throw items onto both of them.
• Go half way up the staircase and into the iron door that just opened.
• Go through the door labeled "Control Room D-4" and hit the top-left button on the left wall, and the bottom-middle button on the right wall.
• Go to the main door and press the two buttons near it at the same time, the door will open, proceed.

Subject Examination

• Go through the door labeled "Armory"

Armory (Difficulty: 1/10)

• Go to the corridor.
• Once you're in the armory press the two buttons and go through the iron doors that opened.
• Follow the corridor and take a left.

Nether Examination (Difficulty: 5/10)

• In this room you will have to shoot all wooden buttons, make sure you get the one in the hole in the corner. The unlit redstone torch will light up when you've hit them all.

Shoot them as fast as you can, because the arrows will despawn very quickly.

• Go all the way back to "Subject Examination" and go though the door directly across the hallway labeled "Sector D-8"

Sector D-8 (Difficulty: 4/10)

• Press the button next to the door and some zombies will be spawned, kill them and wait for the door to open then proceed down the hallway to your left.

Sector D-10 Warehouse (Difficulty: 7/10)

Note: This room contains parkour above a pit filled with zombies and pigmen. If you fail, you can get back up via a staircase on one side, but this is very difficult due to the many zombies you'll have to fight through. Make sure you have splash potions on your hotbar.

• Send someone to the North-east Security Room to get a code and stand on a pressure plate. (Make sure they stay on the plate)
• Enter the incubation sector and input the code then enter the boiler room and have two people on the pressure plates. (You can leave with a button on the opposite door.)
• Once you get back to the warehouse you need to go to the east exit up the stairs
• When you are up the stair case go into the door labeled "Equipment Workshop."

Equipment Workshop

• Go to the water machine and throw an item in each of the water streams (they must be the same type of item) and wait for the door to open.
• Go stand on the pressure plate in the corner.

A note block sound will go off when all four plates are activated.

Warehouse (Again)

• Get your group together and head through the north exit that has opened
• Go down the corridor and press the button to get back to Subject Examination and go down the stair case labeled "Subject Experimenting"

• Head through the door labeled "Animal Experimentation"

Animal Experimentation (Difficulty: 8/10)

• Step 1: Go to the back of the room and through the door
• Step 2: Go Into the Lab and stand on the pressure plate and wait for your team to come back from Sector V-4

Warning: A zombie pigman spawner sits in the hallway adjacent to the room with the pressure plate. You'll be fighting them constantly until the group in Sector V-4 returns and you can go back to the main room.

Sector V-4 Undead Containment (Difficulty: 8/10)

• There are many, many spawners in this room.
• 2 people must head to the right, up the stairs, and follow the balcony to the last two cells.
• There is one pressure plate in each of the last two cells, have one person stand on each.
• Once they're activated, go back to the main room.
• Get your team together and go through to "Sector V-6 Cafeteria."

Cafeteria - Horde Room (Difficulty: 9/10)

• Once you are in the corridor with your team press the button to go into the cafeteria
• Once your team are ready press the two buttons simultaneously to start
• Once you have dealt with the zombies wait for the door to open then proceed
• Tip: If you have access to PvE, do the horde room there so you don't accidentally kill your teammates while swinging at the zombies.

Corridor

• Proceed down the corridor and press the button to open the door
• Collect your prizes and proceed through the doors and up the stair case

Exit

• Press the button to open the doors
• Repeat again and you are now at the start of the dungeon. Congratulations.
