Global Issues

Tuesdays and Fridays, 13:25-14:55

Issues related to development that require global level cooperation will be studied and discussed in English in this class. According to one’s interest, each participant will be assigned to one of the eight topics listed in the Millennium Development Goals (1. poverty, 2. education, 3. gender, 4. child health, 5. maternal health, 6. HIV/AIDS, 7. environment, 8. global partnership for development) and will be requested to present the topic to, and lead discussion of, the whole class.
