Community Guidelines for Skypecasts

If you want to host your own Skypecast or take part in a Skypecast, you need to agree to the following Community Guidelines. These guidelines are here to help you and everyone else enjoy Skypecasts as much as possible:

You promise not to disturb other Skypecasts by, for instance:

You promise not to make, post or otherwise make available statements that do not generally relate to the designated topic of the Skypecast;

You accept that the host of the Skypecast you are participating in has the right to mute and/or remove you from the Skypecast at any time for any reason without the obligation to notify you in advance or give you a reason afterwards.

You understand that Skype has no control of the content made available by means of the Skypecasts and/or the Skypecasts Directory and that it is not able to and does not monitor such content. Skype can therefore not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of the content made available through the Skypecasts and/or in the Directory. Consequently, the possibility exists that you see or hear offensive, inaccurate, false or otherwise undesirable content. Skype disclaims any and all responsibility or liability for the content made available through the Skypecasts and/or in the Directory.

If you believe a Skypecast and/or posting in the Directory violates one or more of these Community Guidelines, you can make a complaint by using the “Report as inappropriate” link within an individual Skypecast listing. Skype will determine, at its sole discretion whether your complaint is valid and take action that Skype thinks is appropriate. Skype reserves the right to ban temporarily or permanently users who breach these guidelines.

Under no circumstances will Skype be held liable in any way for any damages resulting from the posting, distributing, or otherwise making available, communicating or transmitting of any voice, text, video, computer file or other type of data or material. Skype has the right to terminate Skypecasts or remove them from the Directory.

Skype advises you to use your common sense when using Skypecasts and not to say, post, or otherwise make available, any personal information such as addresses, telephone numbers, and credit card numbers. Furthermore, Skype does not verify the identity of Skypecast users and therefore you should not assume that other users are who they say they are.

Skype may change this Agreement from time to time and any changes shall be effective from the time they go live on the Skype website. You agree to be bound to any changes to this Agreement when you use Skypecasts after any such change is posted. We advise you to review this Agreement regularly to ensure you are updated as to any changes.
