Why make a wiki?
なぜwikiをつくるのか？
A) You are students at a technological university. There are many ways to use technology to help you learn English. Making a wiki is one way!
A)あなたは工業大学の学生です。テクノロジーをあなたの英語学習のために使う方法はたくさんあります。Wikiをつくることもその一つの方法です！
B) You will find some useful websites to help your English study. When you have some free time, you can visit these websites and improve your English. Even after this course is over, your wiki will still be online! So you can check it anytime to find some useful resources for learning English.
B)あなたは英語学習に役立つウェブサイトをいくつか見つけるでしょう。自由な時間があるときに、それらのサイトを訪れてあなたの英語を改善することができます。この授業が終わった後でも、あなたのwikiはずっとオンライン上にあります！いつでもそれをチェックして、英語学習のために役立つリソースをみつけることができるでしょう。
C) You are a member of the global community of English learners. Probably you use the Internet a lot as a consumer, but you may not have produced much on the Internet. Being a 21st century learner means not only consuming information but producing it too! Maybe other English learners will find your wiki and learn something from it. The other 2nd year classes who have Ms. Claro for their teacher will look at your wiki when it’s finished and try out some of the websites you find.
C)あなたは英語学習者というグローバルなコミュニティーの一員です。あなたはインターネットを消費者として多く使っているでしょうけれども、インターネット上に何かを作り出したことは多くないかもしれません。21世紀の英語学習者というものは、情報を消費するだけではなく生み出すものでもあるのですよ！他の英語学習者があなたのwikiをみて、そこから何かを得るかも知れません。クラロが担当している別の2年生のクラスが、完成したあなたのwikiを見て、あなたが見つけたウェブサイトを訪れることになるのです。
D) It’s fun! Making a good wiki depends on good teamwork. In this project, your team will work hard to find some great websites. When the project is finished, you’ll have a website that you made together! People will be able to read your wiki and make comments. Those people could be in Japan or anywhere in the world! So let’s do a great job together and find some great websites! ☺
D)楽しいからです！良いwikiを作るには良いチームワークが必要です。このプロジェクトでは、素晴らしいウェブサイトを見つけるためにあなたのチームは一生懸命に働きます。プロジェクトが終わったとき、一緒に作ったウェブサイトを手にすることになります！人々があなたのつくったwikiを読み、コメントを残すでしょう。それは日本でも、世界の他の国でも起こりうるのです！ですから、一緒に良い仕事をして、素晴らしいウェブサイトを見つけましょう！☺
