AD-7170にて6倍速で焼くのが良い。
DVR-105は2倍速推奨。
MCC 03RG20インド産Verbatim DVD-R 10枚パック（スウェーデンにて購入）でもほぼ同じ結果。
FFXでフリーズしガガガの異音がする場合PS2本体のレンズレールにグリスを塗る。CRC556が良いみたい。

The mod: (Zrx-Oms just discovered this a couple weeks ago!)
- power off. (duh!)
- unscrew the back case of the screen, locate the eeprom. It's the ATMEL AT24C16AN near where the red and black power cables attach.
- unsolder the data pin of the eeprom ("SDA", pin 5, lower right corner with hinge towards you)
- power on. Menu appears. Contrast and saturation menus unlocked. adjust all 4 meters to about 50% sane levels, as opposed to unsane factory ones!
- press down datapin while power off (saves settings). Unplug power cord.
- solder datapin back.
- power on. unpossibly great picture!
How to convert bin/cue to iso in order to play PS2 CD images on open PS2 loader through SMB.
Perform below steps with CDMage
open the BIN/CUE image (which normally should be mode2/2352), then right-click on the image track and choose "Extract Tracks..." . Choose a direction to save, name the image and choose "Extract tracks as mode1/2048". You might have to set "If error found" to "Ignore", I don't remember (it would make sense if CDmage refuses to do this conversion by default as explained in my post above). Then add an ".iso" extension to your newly created image file if it isn't already named that way.
