備考：1936年の新製から供出（41年9月）までは七尾区所属。ゲージ幅（1076→1000）減少に伴う改造、薪焚きへの改装などを行い泰緬（タイ・ビルマ）鉄道建設へ供出、43年10月の開通式で式典参加の栄誉を受けた。終戦後はタイ王国国鉄No.725として1977年まで活躍。泰緬鉄道建設に従事した陸軍南方軍野戦鉄道隊隊員などの尽力でC56
44とともに帰国。C56 44は改装を受け大井川鉄道で動態保存。当機はタイ国鉄仕様から泰緬鉄道時の仕様に復元し展示。</p>
