They seem to be husband and wife. A man and a woman face each other at the table. A man and a woman are facing each other at the table. The pair is hiding the same plot.
"The husband died in agony, but the wife was totally OK. Why do you think that is?". Rin asked.
"She mistook the quantity."
"Quantity of what?"
"Poison," returned Sakiko positively.
"That is wrong."
Sakiko wondered why Rin asked what quantity was. If I answer they mistook their feelings, would it be a correct answer?
"A hint?" Rin tilted her head and said, "There are two ways to poison a partner you are facing." Rin gave a smile encouragingly to Sakiko.
The husband stretched out his hand to the wife's glass to poison her drink while the wife switched their glasses secretly after she poisoned hers. Let the husband poison his wife's drink earlier. He adds a nonlethal dose of poison to her glass.
