As a child, I used to look at the sky
wondering what the view from above
Will I know more about the world?
Over time I came to know the view from there,
but unimpressed,
I just felt like I was looking at a picture that someone had taken
I wondered what was at the top of that mountain
I wanted to know what was in that forest
and at the bottom of the sea
The answers to those questions may be found in various books
but I'll not be satisfied with what others gives me
unless I get in on my own
on my own!
It's easy to look down from on high and observe the world
but I want to see the flowers that only bloom in that place
So no matter how far that place is, I'm going for it with all my might
cause the view from there will surely be mine alone
I stepped in and learned how deep the forest was
I stepped in and learned how high and steep the mountain was
There were a lot of things there that were not mentioned in books
precious experiences that could only be had in those place
and even cruel truths that our predecessors had hid from us
The pain in my mind and body is endless and beats me down
so hard that I often feel like I have to stop trying to move on
Even so, I want to keep even that experience in my mind
cause the view from there will surely be mine alone
It's easy to look down from on high and observe the world
but I want to see the scenery that only come from that place
The summit of the mountain covered with glistening perpetual snow
and the countless number of Dicentra blooming there
