Japanese automakers are starting to increase production in Europe in response to rising sales in Germany and France.　
Sales of new vehicles in both countries increased at double-digit rates last month due to government subsidies for purchases of new fuel-efficient cars.
Nissan will increase its production in Europe by five percent this business year. Its factory in Britain will produce 18,000 more cars than the 374,000 it originally planned to make for fiscal 2009.
Meanwhile Toyota is going to produce an extra 7,000 small cars in its factory in France.
Nissan and Toyota will each hire 100 to 250 seasonal factory workers locally in June.

ドイツやフランスでの販売台数の増加を受けて、日本の自動車メーカーの間では、ヨーロッパでの生産を増やす動きが出始めています。
ドイツやフランスなどでは低燃費の新車を購入すると政府の補助金が出る制度が導入され、先月、新車販売台数が２ケタの伸びとなりました。
日産自動車は、ヨーロッパでの生産を今年度、５％増やします。
当初３７万４,０００台としていた２００９年度の生産計画から１８,０００台を増やし、この分をイギリスの工場で増産することになりました。
またトヨタ自動車もフランスの工場で小型車を７,０００台増産します。
日産とトヨタはそれぞれ、６月に現地で１００～２５０人の期間（工場）従業員を雇うことにしています。
