Notes(JPN):
Notes(EN):Grind is fine, strong kick. This smell is Arrack flavor, but I can't write about arrack flavor though I didin't drink arrack. However, peculiar stinky that runs to the potato shochu is felt by me. The smell is lost ahead of time, but Nicotine is high for a long time.

Old Paris derives it's taste from: Arrack Flavor (Fermented and Distilled Dates). The tobaccos found in this snuff are: Zimbabwe Flue Cured Stem, Dark Fired & Sun Cured Leaf.

eG has described the (current) flavor better than I can. The problem with OP is that it's inconsistent, as are several of the F&T offerings from Wilson's. Hurry up and try it before it changes again. ;-) If it ever goes back to the clumpy, very date-like version of yore, I'm gonna buy five pounds of it.
I've heard a lot of people say that it's a high-nicotine item. The version of about five years ago definitely was, but I'm not so sure that it is now. Then again, Tom Buck doesn't strike me as all that killer-diller either, so maybe it's just me.

I believe the snuff is flavored with arrack, the Middle Eastern date liquor. It has a bit of a "scented with booze" aroma to me-- not alcoholic, but "essence of spirits". And a vague feeling of old times, perhaps (Or I've had too much snuff today and can't think straight any longer.... )
I would say it's date-ish and cinnamon-ish, but definitely not scented with dates and cinnamon. If that helps. It does have a nice and generous amount of nicotine, more than most other snuffs of its relative coarseness and moistness.

I couldn't wait to sample this one, of course. As expected it is very potent and coarse. I usually don't like coarse snuffs but this one is great. Reminds me of Kendal Brown ever so slightly. The scent is not too strong.

this snuff has a wonderful aroma , a subtle sweetness, but i do have a problem with the grind and its moisture , dark and moist maybe to my palate its a bit to much work to inhale and when i get a sniff it has a heavy feeling of cloying the nose just a little to course & moist for me , but does have a very rich aroma .

The ingredients of this snuff are listed as fermented and distilled dates. It's difficult for me to detect any date aroma, although there is a very subtle sweetness in the background, kind of like a dry wine. The grind is medium and very moist, a condition it retains very nicely in the excellent F&T container. This is a snuff that can be taken in fairly large doses, and has a nice little kick when used that way. Nicotine and MOAHR are both in the medium range. I probably won't order this one again, but it's not because this is a bad snuff. It's just because there are others in the F&T line I enjoy more, like Seville, Morroco, and HIgh Dry Toast.

I'm not as big of a fan of this as many others seem to be. It has a relatively natural tobacco flavor, the date flavoring is too subtle for me. The tingle is nice, albeit short-lived and gives a noticeable nicotine buzz. As it is a larger grain and moist, it makes my nose run like a pickpocket from the police. Nice for a change, but not a snuff that I'd want to use in public for fear that people might ask me if my nose is bleeding.
