I have not posted for a while but felt compelled today after an experience with Samuel Gawith Kendal Brown. I have been hovering on and off in the background for a while but work long hrs and so rarely find any time to post of late.
But while working away I must tell you all I purchased some S&G KB, what a revelation!
It’s very coarse and completely different in character to F&Ts interpretation of the classic blend. That’s not to say better or worse, just entirely different, and that’s what makes Snuff enjoyment such a pleasure when you come across something “really different”.
I wish I could have all of you sat around with some cold beer trying a pinch.
Its very dark, moist course, with a very distinctive smoky flavour with a hint of citrus, I can almost imagine that this would have been the outdoor mans snuff in the north of England.
While a more gentlemanly fellow snuff peddler form Londinium, tamed it for the more refined F&T clientele. Its lovely and for a man who suffers block from any make of menthol, or fine snuff.
The texture is lovely and course and I have snuffed thought my 17 hr shift at work with clear sinuses, a wonderful aroma and ( after a few good evenly spaced by several minutes and consecutive pinches) a dam good snuff lift that we all know and love.
