This is a very finely ground, and pretty dry snuff from Wilson's. It's not toast dry, but it ain't no schmalzer. This is a nasally-confusing snuff for me, when I open the tin, it smells of chocolate, maybe a little coffee, and I can detect the menthol in it, but the menthol aroma is not overpowering in the tin. Upon snuffing SM Brown, the menthol declares it's presence, but fades rather quickly to leave behind a low-key spearmint flavor. It's strange, I cannot detect any spearmint just smelling the snuff, but as soon as I snuff it, it becomes apparent to me. It is nothing like as strong as Prime Minister, but it's definitely there. When snuffed, I can't find any of the chocolate I was expecting from the aroma. There is no detectable ammonia scent, unlike many other Wilson's snuffs that I have tried. The nicotine content seems moderate to strong to me, perhaps as a result of the fine grind. This snuff dries me out quite a bit, so I don't think it would make a good all-day flavor for me personally. The sneeze factor is non-existent, even when I take it with the snuffbooster. Overall, this is a pretty good flavor from the Wilson's SM line, and worth a try if you like mentholated snuffs that have some other characteristics.
