Dear Colleagues,

Over the past few days, all of us have become aware of the devastation in Japan as a result of the earthquake and tsunami on Friday, 11 March.

We hope that everyone of you is alright.

The International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) stands in complete solidarity with the school library community in Japan. Our prayers and thoughts are with everyone affected by the disaster, and our heartfelt sympathies go out to those who have lost property and family members.

IASL is willing to assist in whatever way we can. Please let us know how we can help.
