[QUEST_SENDER] is among the most influental Traders of his time. However, reckless speculative deals have resulted in debts and liabilities. Unwilling to listen to reason di Mercante wants to pursue and sink his creditors.

After scuppering the majority of his creditors, [QUEST_SENDER] would like to resurrect some old business contacts. For his scheme to work, however, he needs some Goods to present as gifts to his former Trading partners to butter them up.

The creditors seem to have lost all faith in [QUEST_SENDER]; nor are they reassured by the expensive gifts. The ambitious [QUEST_SENDER] does not want to accept this and needs a Prophetess from your Settlement to ask for guidance on what to do next.

The wise old woman advises the hapless [QUEST_SENDER] to seek support from his family until things have calmed down. [QUEST_SENDER] asks you to protect the Ship he will use to send for his family.

There are certainly boundaries of legality that a Trader such as [QUEST_SENDER] may occasionally overstep. [QUEST_SENDER] wants to introduce a few Rats into a competitor's Warehouse and asks you beforehand to fish the rodents out of the Ocean, along with any other debris that might be floating around.
Ethical boundaries II
After the Rats have ruined most of [QUEST_SENDER]'s competitor's supplies, he offers to restock the rival's Storage at exorbitant prices. [QUEST_SENDER] wants you to supply some Goods for this rotten Transaction.
Ethical boundaries III
As if this humiliation were not enough, [QUEST_SENDER] wants to deal his irritating competitor a final blow by undermining his economic power. You are to intercept a Ship carrying an extremely important Cargo.
Ethical boundaries IV
A last defiant gesture on the part of [QUEST_SENDER]'s irate competitor. He sends a Fleet out from his Harbour and threatens [QUEST_SENDER]'s Trading routes. To get rid of his adversary, [QUEST_SENDER] wants to sink the Ships before they can harm him.
