Introduction

Welcome to the save editing page! This page will breakdown on how to easily edit your saves for competitive SSR3 PvP.

Save Files

You will first need a save file to edit, download one of these save files for the version of the game you're using:

Both save files have six, genuine brothers which give you full LP and are on your team. These brothers aren't from WFC either, so when you go online they won't cleared.

Adding AR codes into melonDS

Before editing the save file with Thistle's Save Editor, it's best to first explain how to add cheats into melonDS.

The first thing you should do is tick the "Enable Cheats" option, which can be found by going to System > Enable cheats:

Then, launch the game and go to System > Setup cheat codes and create a new category for your cheats:

After you've set up your category, click the "New AR code" button and then enter your code AR code into the right text box.

You can have multiple AR codes in one category and you can click the little arrow next to a category to see a drop-down list of all the AR codes in one category. You can also rename an AR code by highlighting it and pressing F2:

Once you've entered your code, hit OK.

Thistle's Save Editor

This will be the main tool which will be used for editing saves. It is a very robust tool which allows you to create your own build within a few minutes. Download the editor for your version of the game:
Extract it using 7zip or WinRAR and launch the version of the editor you'll want to use for your game. After launching, it should look like this:

There are many things to edit, but we'll break everything as we go along.

Rockman Customization

We'll first go over Rockman's customization options. Click on "Rockman Setting":

A new window will be opened up which will allow you to edit Rockman's options. The first three parameters will allow you to edit Rockman's Noise, Rezon Card and White Card. While this window is open, you can click on "Noise list","Rezon Card list" and "White Card list" from the previous window to open up a list which will show you what each value contains:

You can also press the "Noise Card List" button to view the values for Noise Cards:

After seeing the lists, you can set Rockman's parameters accordingly.
※Before setting up Rockman's parameters, please make sure to check that your setup is within the game's limitations:
  • You CANNOT have more than ONE ★ card. You can only have ONE ★ card.
  • You CANNOT have duplicate Noise Cards. For example, you CANNOT have two Leo Kingdom Noise cards. You can only have ONE.
  • You also CANNOT have Noise Cards which have the same number and suit. For example, you CANNOT have the ❤7 Doom Count Noise and the ❤7 Boom Noise cards together.
To know more about the rules and limitations of the game, please see the Rules page. To learn more about Noise Cards and how they work, please visit the this page.

Editing Bros

The save files already have six genuine bros ready for you to edit, so you can go straight to editing them.

※Before editing your fake bros, make sure that your edits are within the game's limitations:
  • You CANNOT have BURAI as a brother or HAVE a brother as BURAI.
To know more about the rules and limitations of the game, please see the Rules page.

If you're playing Burai, make sure to delete your brothers like so:

  • I) Click the Menu button.
  • II) Click the Brother tab.
  • III) Click on a brother and choose the second option.
  • IV) Click the first option to delete a brother.

Editing bros is very simple, you just go back to the same menu you see when you start the program. It's self-explanatory from there on. Choose the parameters of your fake bros and press "Generate" to create the necessary AR code:

Brother Roulette

The other thing you can edit when it comes to brother roulette, to find out more about this, see this page.
※Before editing the brother roulette, make sure that you edit it within the game's limitations:
  • Brothers CANNOT have more than ONE Giga in their roulette!
  • Brothers CANNOT have more than ONE Mega in their roulette!
  • Brothers CANNOT have Leo Kingdom GX, Pegasus Magic GX or Dragon Sky GX in their roulette.
To know more about the rules and limitations of the game, please see the Rules page.

The Brother Roulette menu is also very straightforward and doesn't need much of an explanation:

Simply choose your chosen Mega/Giga cards for the roulette, and hit "Generate" to create your AR code.

SSS/MS Editing

The last parts to edit are the SSS/MS cards. They're a bit complicated to understand for new players, but this page does a good job of explaining them.
※Before editing SSS/MS cards, make sure that you adhere to the game's limitations:
  • You can only have THREE SSS/MS cards.
  • They CANNOT be duplicates.
To know more about the rules and limitations of the game, please see the Rules page.

※If you are planning to use SSS/MS cards together with Brothers:
  • Make sure to delete the brother slots which you'll be using for SSS.

The interface is again, very straightforward and easy to use, simply choose which SSS/MS cards you want to use and then hit the "Generate" button again:

The SSS/MS lists include an image of the cards you get for every single SSS and MS level:
