1. What is "CHANNEL2 NEW ZEALAND"?
"CHANNEL2 NEW ZEALAND" is New Zealand's largest anonymous thread-float BBS community,with boards about almost everything.

2. Is this place free?
Yes, it is, since being a teenager, I'm not skilled enough to take money from people like you wwwww ok wwwww, and I used only free CGIs and server space so I don't need any money to administer this site.

3. Is this place dangerous?
This site is not intended to be dangerous in any way. However, the safety of this site will depend on what kind of people are using it.Hiroyuki Nishimura, administrator of２ちゃんねる(2CHANNNERU, the real CHANNEL2),said that"2CHANNNERU is hard to use for people who can't tell lies from truth",and that pretty much sums it up.

4. How am I supposed to trust you?
Well, as I've said before, I'm only a teenager. Also, I've posted my mail address, and I'm Japanese (Japanese men take pride in the fact that they are rather honest). Isn't that enough? Maybe not orz... Still, I intend to do no harm to anybody.

5. Are there any rules?
Yes, but not many. There are local rules for each board, and you are expected to act sensibly, but otherwise, you're sweet as.

6. How do I build a thread?
1. Go to the bottom of the board.
2. In the first box, type in the title of the thread.
3. In the second box, type in your handlename. Since this is an anonymous BBS,you don't need to have a handlename, just if you want to. Also,I'd like to note that every board has a different name that shows up if you leave the handlename box blank.
4. In the third box, type in your mail address (again, this is optional.You can leave it blank, but there are certain commands that are activated by typing certain words in to this box).
5.In the last box, type in the text, push the button, and presto! A new thread is born!

7. How do I respond to a thread?
1. Go to the bottom of the thread you want to respond to.
2. Type in your handlename in the first box (optional).
3. Type in your mail address in the second box (optional).
4. Type in the text in the next box and push the button.

8. How can I volunteer to become a staff member?
9. How can I send a banner or top picture for the site or a board,or an advertisement for my site?

BASICS

1. "age" "sage"
If you type in the mail address box: sage
when you respond to a thread, this will make the thread go down the thread list one space. If you type in: age
when you respond to a thread, it will go to the top of the thread list.

2. The anchor
When you want to respond to a certain person in a thread, you can type in
>>response number of that person
in the text box, and a link to that response will be in the response you sent.

3. The "trip" You can use a "trip" to identify yourself and prevent anybody from using your handlename. All you need to do is type in the handlename box:
handlename #password of your choice
something like this will show up next to your handlename:
◆NdKrQ0UM
If somebody copies this in to his handlename box, a ◇ will appear instead of the ◆,so it will verify that he is an imposter. OK?

4. Linking
You can not use HTML in any of the boards. However, if you paste a URL in the text box, a link will form automaticaly.
