- On 19 January 2024, J. Alex Halderman demonstrated in federal court in Atlanta, Georgia, that it is possible to manipulate the count of electronic voting machines through a simple operation. The electronic voting machines, manufactured by Dominion, were the machines used in the 2020 presidential election.
- How to falsify the numbers tabulated on this electronic voting machine. This is done by simply putting the settings of this voting machine into safe mode. Once in safe mode, the numbers tabulated on the electronic voting machine can be manipulated. To put this electronic voting machine into secure mode, simply press and hold the power button for 7 seconds. With a single ballpoint pen, anyone could manipulate the numbers on this electronic voting machine.(*1)
