• Isaac、まず始めに檻を使って降りる必要があるわ。

Santos : Norton, can you help us?

Isaac : Ah, save it. I'll go inside. I just need you to guide the cage over the opening

Isaac : So santos, how will this work exactly?

• それでSantos、これは正常に動作するんだろうな？

Santos : Use the gun's sensor attachment to locate a nerve cluster. It should ping when you're close.

Isaac : And then what?

Santos : Shoot a probe into it, I suppose. My telemetry should light up and we'll have the location of the Machine! Finally, something simple, right?

• それらにプローブを打ち込めばいい、と思う。私の遠隔測定法で照らし出せばそれでマシンの場所を知ることが出来るわ！ねっ、簡単でしょ？

Isaac : Alright, guess I just aim the probe and follow the ping. Doesn't sound too hard.

• よし、プローブを向けて音を辿ってみよう。これだけ聞くと簡単に思えるな。

Isaac : Hmmm, nothing. Need to find a stronger signal ping.

• ふむ、反応無し。もっと強い信号音の場所を見つけないと。

Isaac : Still nothing. There's gotta be an active node somewhere.

• 依然として反応無し。もっと活きの良い部分が別にある筈だ。

Isaac : Huh, wrong node. There must be a stronger ping around here somewhere.

• ふぅ、ここは違うな。もっと強い信号の部分が周囲にある筈だ。

Isaac : God. Santos! It's moving!

• うおっ。Santos！動き始めたぞ！

Santos : Don't worry, it's quite dead...

Isaac : Fine. I'm headed back to the cage.

Isaac : Santos, we have a fix on the Machine?

• Santos、マシンの場所は特定できたのか？

Santos : Yes! There are thousands of signal, all concentrated far below the planet's surface. That has to be it! There's an entrance further up the mountain beneath a second dig site.

• ええ！無数の信号が惑星の地表より下へと集中しているの。そこに違いないわ！入り口は山頂の麓にある第二採掘場ね。

Norton : Further up the mountain? They're sheer cliffs!

Ellie : I saw some climbing gear stored below. Santos and I will start setting it up at the base of the cliff. Norton, can you make sure Isaac gets out safety?

• 貴様はまさか自分が私を問題から救う事になろうとは思ってもみなかっただろうな。

Danik : Well, here he is: the Marker killer, Isaac Clarke. And here we are: the "Marker home world". You know, I must admit, I almost didn't believe such a place existed. But thanks to your friend Norton, I finally found it.

Danik : It's a very difficult thing, undoing the damage man has done. Everything we touch, we contaminate, corrupt. The Markers had a plan for us, but we took what should have been a magnificent gift... and perverted it.

Danik : I've spent an entire lifetime trying to undo the damage man has done: fighting EarthGov's ongoing research, liberating the Markers from those profane testing facilities, and now... I just have one problem left to purge. All of you!
