Chapter 3 "The Roanoke"

Norton : Uh, looks like power's out everywhere. There's no way to activate the cargo doors.

• ううむ、見た所どこも電力が回っていないようだ。貨物ドアを起動する手段はどこにもなさそうだ。

Carver : I think there's a manual crank, on the other door. See it?

• 他のドアを見た所、思うにこれらは手動クランク式だ。そうは見えないか？

Isaac : Right. I'll see if I can get inside.

• その通りだ。内部に入れたらそちら側から見てみよう。

...

（宇宙空間でしばらく放置）

Isaac: I've seen a lot of ships but never anything like these.

• 宇宙船は沢山見てきたが、こいつらは見た事がないな。

Norton: That's because the Sovereign Colonies were sore losers. When they lost the Secession War to EarthGov, they scuttled their entire fleet. I'm surprised any survived.

• Sovereign Colonyは往生際の悪い奴らだったんでね。分離戦争でEarthGovに負けたとき、全艦隊を吹き飛ばしてしまったんだ。まだ残っていた艦があったとは驚きだよ。

Rosen:　What were they doing this far from home anyway?

• なんにせよ、故郷からこんな遠くで何をやってたんだ？

Isaac: If this is where Ellie went, you can bet it had something to do with the Markers.

• ここがEllieの目的地なら、Markerに関わる事に違いないさ。

Isaac : Well, we've got air. And dust.

• よし、空気があったぞ。埃も凄いが。

Norton : Any sign of Ellie?

• Ellieの痕跡は何かあったか？

Isaac : No, looks like I'm the first person through here in a long time. I'll try to open the cargo doors. Hang on.

• いや、この感じだと長い間俺以外に誰も立ち入ってはいないようだ。貨物ドアを開けないか調べてみる。待っててくれ。

Locke : It is getting hard to breathe. How much longer?

• 息苦しくなってきたわ。まだかかりそう？

Norton : We're working as fast as we can.

• なるべく早くできるよう頑張っている。

Locke : Mark's really pale. I can't stop the bleeding!

• Markが真っ青なの。私じゃ出血を止められないわ！

Norton : Shit. Isaac! Meet me at the door. I can let you in from this side.

• クソッ。Isaac！ドアの所で会おう。こちら側からお前を迎え入れる事が出来る。

Norton : There! Now get in here, and give me a hand.

• よし！すぐに来て手を貸してくれ。

Norton : Isaac, Ellie's S.O.S. is coming from deeper inside this ship. but I can't leave Rosen and Locke.

• Isaac、Ellieの救難信号は艦体深層部より送られてきている。だが私はRosenとLockeを置いては行けん。

Isaac : Send me the cordinates. I'll go check it out.

• 座標を送ってくれ。俺が見てくるとしよう。

Norton : Here you go. Hey, don't stray too far. That's an order.

• ほら、これだ。おい、余り遠くへは行くなよ。これは命令だ。

艦内～遭遇

Isaac : It's a dead end. Looks like someone shut a bulkhead for Quarantine.

• 行き止まりだな。誰かが隔離の為に隔壁を閉じたみたいだ。

Norton : Can we cut through it?

• 無理やり通れそうにはないか？

Isaac : No, too thick. But it might cycle open if can I power it up.

• 分厚すぎて不可能だ。だが電力を通してやれば開けられるかもしれない。

Isaac : That did it. And there's a Bench on the same circuit.

• よしやったぞ。そして同じ回路上にベンチがあったみたいだ。

Norton : Bench?

• ベンチ？

Isaac : With all the parts lying around here, I bet I can *make* a better weapon than this one.

• そこいらに転がっている部品を使って今よりも性能のいい武器を「作る」ことが出来る。

Norton : Smart thinking.

• 面白いな。

Isaac : Son of a... hey guys, we're in trouble!

• クソッ...みんな、トラブル発生だ！

Norton : What... what is it? What's going on?!

• なん...何だ一体？何が起きたんだ？！

Isaac : I just got jumped by what's left of the crew!

• 取り残されていた乗組員達が襲い掛かってきた！

Norton : What!? No one could have survived out here that long!

• 何だって！？そんなに長い間生き残っている人間がいる筈がないだろう！

Carver : They didn't survive. They got turned into those... things.

• 彼らは生き残ってはいない。彼らは...アレへと変貌したんだ。

Norton : What... Ok what do we do?

• なっ...オーケー、私達はどうすればいい？

Isaac : You keep your weapon ready and you stay the hell away from the ventilation ducts! If they get close, shoot for the limbs! You got that? I said: You got that?!?

• 武器をいつでも使えるようにしておき、換気ダクトには絶対近づかないようにするんだ！もし奴らが近づいてきたら、手足を撃て！わかったか？わかったかと聞いているんだ？！？

Norton : Yeah, yeah, okay! Okay!

• あぁ、あぁ、わかった！わかった！

遭遇～電力復旧

Norton : Ahh they're coming out of the woodwork! Fire! Fire! Isaac! Where the hell are you?!

• ああぁ、奴らが木造部分から襲ってきている！撃て！撃て！Isaac、今どこにいる？！

Isaac : Almost to the crossover tube!

• 連絡管の近くだ！

Locke : They just keep coming!

• 奴らまだ来ます！

Rosen : Sir, we're running low on ammo!

• 隊長、弾薬がもう余りありません！

Isaac : Make a barricade! Just keep them out a little longer!

• バリケードを作れ！少しでも長く時間を稼ぐんだ！

Isaac : Norton, you there?!

• Norton、生きているか？！

Norton : Yeah, yeah I'm here! I think that's holding them for now...

• ああ、ああ、生きているとも！今の所は落ち着いたみたいだな...

Isaac : Good. The S.O.S is coming from directly above me. And it looks like I've found the ship's primary generator. If I can get power going, it should unlock the crossover for you.

• よし。救難信号は丁度俺の真上から来ている。そしてこの艦のメインジェネレーターを見つけた所だ。電力の復旧が出来れば、連絡管のそちら側のロックも外れるはずだ。

Norton : What about you?

• そっちはどうする？

Isaac : There's an elevator here that goes straight up the spire. I'll meet you at Ellie's coordinates.

• 頭頂部までまっすぐ上るエレベーターがここにある。Ellieの居場所でまた会おう。

Norton : Hey, we have power! The crossover just opened up!

• よし、電力が復旧した！連絡管が開いたぞ！

Isaac : You're welcome.

• どういたしまして。

Norton : Rosen, Locke, stay put. Isaac, Carver, we'll rendezvous at the spire.

• Rosen、Locke、じっとしていろ。Isaac、Carver、頭頂部に集合だ。

Carver : Got it.

• 了解。

頭頂部

Ellie : Oh God, you found us!

• ああ、良かった、やっと見つけてくれたのね！

Norton : Ohhh Ellie! Baby! Mmhm. I knew you were too stubborn to die.

• おおおお、Ellie！ベイビー！君が死ぬ訳無いってわかってたよ。

Buckell : Captain, is this him?

• 隊長、こちらが例の？

Norton : Uh yeah. That's uh, that's him.

• ん、ああ。それ、あー、そちらが例の彼だ。

Buckell : Isaac Clarke - great to meet you! Austin Buckell, Marker Ops. And this-here is Jennifer Santos - our little lady with the big brain.

• Isaac Clarke、お会いできて光栄です！私はマーカー作戦従事のAustin Buckell。そしてこっちが小さな体に大きな頭脳を持つ、Jennifer Santos。

Santos : If it's true you can decipher the Marker script, this mission might still have a chance.

• もし貴方が本当にマーカー文字の解読が出来るのならこのミッションにもまだ可能性はあるって事ね。

Ellie : Isaac, thank you for coming.

• Isaac、来てくれてありがとう。

Isaac : Like I had a choice.

• こうするしかなかったんだ。

Ellie : I know, I'm sorry. But I have so much to tell you...

• わかってる。ごめんなさい。でも貴方に伝えたいことが沢山あるの...

Norton : Woah! Alright, come on, we have to get uh, get out of here. Now!

• うぉう！よし、脱出、あー、こんな所からはすぐに脱出だ。さあ！

Ellie : No! Not yet! Isaac, we need to stop the Marker. The trail ends at the Admiral's quarters - she'd written Marker Scrawl all over the walls! The answers are in there! I know it!

• いいえ！まだ駄目よ！Isaac、私達はマーカーを止めなければならない。提督室には壁一面に提督が書いたマーカーの殴り書きがあるの！答えはそこにあるはず！私にはわかるの！

Ellie : We cannot leave until we know what it says!

• 私達はあれに何が書いてあるのか知るまではここを去る事は出来ない！

Norton : Yeah well then let Isaac handle the translating! We're leaving! Now! I got Buckell, you get Santos. Let's go!

• ああ、ならそれはIsaacに翻訳を任せよう！我々はここから退避だ！さあ！私はBuckellを、君はSantosを頼む。行こう！

Isaac : Go on, take care of your crew. They need you more than I do.

• 行って乗組員達の世話をしてやってくれ。彼らは俺なんかよりもっと君を必要としている。
