This weapon cannot be used in Close Combat. Heavier versions can load Special Ammunition, allowing the Heavy MULTI mode. MULTI Machine Guns cannot be picked up with the Booty or Impersonation Special Skills.
Modern Heavy Machine Guns have constant integrated autocooling systems that allow them to keep high rates of fire for long periods of time and neither the barrel nor the firing mechanism will melt. Multiple magazines and programmed systems allow them to alternate ammunition, which endows the weapon with great versatility, adapting itself to the changing situations of the battlefield.
