We share one printer among 7 persons in our lab.
So, it is inevitable to use system of sharing a printer. The system has a problem of a maximum connection number. We use WimXP Home Edition at host computer. Home Edition permits 5 connections at one time. And another problem was 3 persons occupied \PIPE\spoolss eternally. That was the unthinkable for me. I couldn't find the solution. Microsoft menthions the solution to patch Service Pack 2, however, the laptop which have pacthed yet caused the problem. What is the problem?

I fixed this problem for one person after many twists and turns. There is no use in doing all kinds of solutions for ohter two persons.
