ブリーフィング

During the great spring offensiv žž­e of April 1918, the German 6th army led an attack along the river Lys in Flandres. They pushed back the British and Portuguese defenders for almost 50 kilometres. Today, on April 25th 1918, the Imperial troops have reached Mount Kemmel, the strategic centre of the Flandres heights. French reinforcements are defending the height and their fighting skills will decide the fate of the German offensive.

1918年4月からの春季攻勢でドイツ軍第6軍はフランダースのレイエ川に沿って攻撃を開始した。ドイツ軍はイギリス軍とポルトガル軍の守備隊をおよそ50km押し戻した。1918年4月25日、この日ドイツ軍はフランダースの戦略的中心地である高地、ケンメル山に到着した。この高地を守備するフランス軍の戦闘能力がドイツ軍の攻撃の運命を決定するであろう。
