この時点で、「TBSの報道は印象操作で報道することによってなんらかの圧力を業界にかけようとする意図があるのかも知れない。」との見方もあった。
また、報道翌日にソフ倫が加盟メーカー各社に送付したFAXの内容と矛盾があることが判明。
６月２日にソフ倫で加盟各社による懇談会が行われるとのことで、そこで結論がでるのでは？という流れに。
