“[Telephone dating services] used to be filled with messages from young women looking to sell their bodies for cash. But recently, even guys have started to get in on the act,”says a 32-year-old salaryman.

Shukan shincho says that throughout the nation there's a rousing cry from many young men saying,“But me.”The prestigious weekly notes that women in their 20s and 30s are paying younger guys sex in a quietly spreading phenomena it calls “reverse enjo kosai”(a euphemism for prostitution that literally means“compensated dating”).

“The situation's not like where women give presents to a host, or a gigo-lo-type. It's older women looking after everyday, younger guys. From dates, to hotels - the women pay for it all. It's exactly the same situation as dirty old men paying high school girls for sex,”says a writer who specializes in stories about the adult entertainment industry.

Shukan Shincho says there has been a recent spate of Internet sites popping up with young men advertising their sexual services to older women.
It says most frightening site is “G-Club.”
Among the some 300 guys flogging their wares on the site is a 27-year-old man promising to give women the “present”of their dreams for up to 30,000 yen a pop.
Or there's 22-year-old Kenichi Yoshida, who charges 25,000 for a five-hour date, then ups the ante to 40,000 yen if the women would simply prefer two straight hours of sex.
Yoshida says he'll accept partners up to the age of 35 and that he particularly welcomes rich, female university students.

相手は35歳まで受け入れて裕福な女性大学生をとりわけ歓迎する、とヨシダはいう。

“The guys on the site are mostly company employees from 25 to 35. At first, I thought it'd be hard to get people to list their names, but we were swamped. It appears as though guys think it's lucky to be able to make a bit of money on the side by having sex,”the operator of G-Club says.
