• David Burtland is intra-psychological persona known only by members of Alliance Number 1, with his appearance being that of a bald man in his 50/60s with a dissatisfied disposition and glasses, generated by S.Moroné with AI in the second quarter of 2024.
• This character is used by D.Crowther-Day to interact with various scammers, with notable names including Dr. Ababa, Dr. Andy, Mary Wolf, Renate Koch and Ball Stretcher.
• As well as the David Burtland persona, S.Moroné and T.Lonsdale of Alliance Number 1 and Alliance Number 2 respectively each have unnamed old men as their own mouthpiece to WhatsApp scammers.
• Notably, David Burtland's wife, "Enid," is known to have serious dementia, and S.Moroné's persona's wife was found "dead in the bathtub" after a night of drinking sherry.
• Here, we will explore each of the aforementioned scammers' incidents.
• Dr. Ababa, the most frequently contacted scammer, is a Nigerian doctor specialising in magical solutions to various life problems. Often added to group chats and even calls, the Doctor has, many times responded to Alliance Number 1, with two notable incidents involving an interview between the man himself and D.Crowther-Day, where he sounded extremely depressed, and a time Dr. Ababa's face was exposed for a split second as he (accidentally) joined a video call which forces the camera on upon entry. His profile picture is of a candle flame with a background of darkness, in accordance to his enchanting business.
• It should be noted another scammer of a similar magic nature was reported to have sold "Marriage Spell," "Love Spell," "Exam Success Spell," and the infamous "Divorce Spell," which would legally force a faulty marriage to come to a close. It was commented by D.Crowther-Day and S.Moroné that surely, you can just get a divorce (with no intermediate magic spell).
• Dr. Andy is another "doctor" scammer D.Crowther-Day was frequently in contact with, until the Alliance Number 1 member mentioned dying children in Gaza, to which the doctor asked to never be contacted again. Notably, during the infamous Science Trip Incident, Dr. Andy messaged D.Crowther-Day during the talks, to both his and S.Moroné's shock and delight.
• Mary Wolf is a mysterious scammer added to the David Burtland group chat, where all the scammers were pooled together, who never messaged a word. Their profile picture was of a presumably AI or stolen photo of a Caucasian woman in her 30s with glasses and blonde hair.
• Renate Koch is allegedly the wife of famous German scientist Robert Koch, most well-known for his identification of Anthrax bacteria, who emailed D.Crowther-Day saying her microbiologist husband had passed away, and that he was entitled to a portion of the late doctor's belongings and capital if he himself could somehow go to Nigeria. If this was the case, this wife would be over 180 years old. Details of the contract involved D.Crowther-Day being eligible to claim a whopping $5,000,000 from Robert Koch but only if he went physically to Nigeria, as Renate was allegedly in hospital unable to walk, though this seems irrelevant to the terms of the will. Robert Koch's actual spouses' forenames were found to be Emma (divorced) and Hedwig. D.Crowther-Day responded to this Renate Koch by offering to take a quick helicopter to Nigeria, though received no further correspondence.
• Ball Stretcher is also a mysterious scammer with few known details but their odd nickname.
