まりさは想い人（想いゆ？）のことを考え、頬を染める。
そして、輝かしい未来を想像しながら、畑へと向かって跳ねていく。

畑には青年がいた。昨年、ドスを潰した本人だ。
「にんげんさん！よっくきくのぜ！！
ここに ある おやさいさんは ぜんっぶ さいっきょうの まりささまの なのぜ！！」
収穫作業をしていた青年に、まりさが大声で叫ぶ。
『ん？なんだ？ゆっくり……まりさ種か。
はぁ……どこから わいたんだか。本当に勝手に生えてくる奴等だな。』
自分達の爪が甘かったことが原因なのだが、そのことを知らない青年がため息まじりで言う。
「そうなのぜ！かってに はえてくるのぜ！！
おやさいさんは かってに はえてくるのぜ！！
そして、おやさいさんは ゆっくりの ものなのぜ！」
『あのな……野菜は勝手には生えない。
勝手に生えているのは野草だ。
これは、俺が種をまい…』
「ゆーゆーゆー！！わかってるのぜ！！みなまでいうな なのぜ！！」
『は？』
言葉を まりさに遮られた青年が驚く。
「どうせ にんげんさんは こういうのぜ。
おやさいさんは じぶんが そだてたもの だがら、じぶんの ものだって。
どうかぜ？あたってるかぜ？」
『あ、あぁ……まぁ、当たっているが……』
「げらげらげらげらげら。
まったく、いいかげんに してほしーのぜ。
にんげんさん。みたところ もう りっぱな おとなさんの ようなのぜ。
だったら、いいがげん ゆめを みるのは やめるのぜ。」
まりさは青年をバカにした目で見ながら続ける。
「いいかぜ？おやさいさんは かってに はえてくるのぜ。
それも ゆっくりした ゆっくりの ためなのぜ。
おやさいさんを たべたい にんげんさんは そうやって うそを ついて、じぶんを せいとうか しているだけ なのぜ。
まったく、ここの おやさいさんも かわいそうなのぜ。ゆっくりしてない にんげんさんに たべられるだなんて……。
にんげんさん。まりさの ことばを ありがたく きくのぜ。
そして、ゆっくりりかいするのぜ！このよの しんりさんを！
げんじつさんを みとめたくない きもちは わからなくも ないのぜ。
でも、だからといって げんじつさんから めを そむけては だめなのぜ。
もっと おとなさんに なるのぜ！！」
まりさは胸（？）をはりながら青年に向かって叫んだ。
これはまりさにとって最終警告であった。
もし人間が反論してきたら、制裁するつもりなのだ。
『………そっか、野菜はゆっくりのために勝手に生えるんだな。』
「そうなのぜ！だから おやさいさんを ひとりじめするのは やめるのぜ！！」
『わかったよ。ほら、この野菜を食べな。
ゆっくりした ゆっくり、まりさのために生えてきた野菜だ。』
青年は赤い実を一つ、地面に置きながら言う。
「ゆ！なかなか ものわかりのいい にんげんさんなのぜ。
とくっべつに まりさの どれいに してやるから かんしゃするのぜ。」
まりさは青年が無抵抗に野菜を献上してきたことに気分がよくなる。
『わかったから早く食べないよ。野菜も まりさに食べられたがっているんだろ？』
「わかっているのぜ！
……おやさいさん。あかい あかい おやさいさん。
まりさに たべられて、まりさを ゆっくりさせるために かってにはえてきた おやさいさん。
いま さいっきょうの まりさが むーしゃむーしゃしてあげるから かんしゃしてね。
まりさが たべたら、また すぐに はえてきてね。」
まりさはこれから食べる野菜の味を想像し、目を輝かせながら舌を伸ばす。
そして、赤い実を掴み、口内にいれ、咀嚼する。
「むーしゃむー……っご！ごりどぐがばいっでりゅぅうううう！！！
っげっぼぉおお！！っごっぼ！！っげっぼぉお！！っげっぼぉおおおおお！！！」
笑顔から一転、まりさの顔は苦痛に歪み、赤い実と、餡子を大量に吐き出す。
まりさが食べた赤い実は唐辛子である。
菓子でできている ゆっくりにとって、辛味は毒でしかない。
だが、ゆっくりに危機管理能力はない。
【赤い野菜は美味しい】という経験から、
かつて食べたトマトとは形状が違うことに気がつかずに、唐辛子を食べたのだ。
『まりさ、吐き出すなよ。まりさのために生えてきた野菜だろ？』
「ゆ？なにを いってるのぜぇええ！！
これは どくなのぜぇえええ！！さっさと おやさいさんを もってくるのぜぇえええ！！」
『は？よく見てろ。
…………………うん！美味い！！』
青年は唐辛子を齧る。
この青年、唐辛子畑をもっているからか、激辛が好物である。
「…………」
まりさの目が点になる。先ほどと同じ赤い実の野菜を青年が美味しそうに食べたのが信じられないのだ。
『なぁ、まりさ。野菜は ゆっくりのために生えるって言ったよな？
それは違うな。野菜は人間のために生えるんだよ。
だって、野菜は まりさには毒だったけど、人間である俺には美味しいものだからな。』
「っち！ちがうのぜ！！おやさいさんは ゆっくりのために かってに はえてくるのぜ！！
さ、さっきのは くそにんげんが なにか ひきょうなことを したのに きまっているのぜ！！」
『ふーん。だったらさ、コレも食べてみる？』
青年は自分が齧り、半分になった唐辛子を まりさに見せながら言う。
「たべるのぜ！！くそにんげんが たべても へいきな おやさいなのぜ！
さいきょうの まりささまが おいしく むーしゃむーしゃするのぜ！！」
『吐くなよ。もし吐けば、野菜はお前ら ゆっくりのために生えていないことになるからな。
これから ずっと野菜を食べたければ、絶対に吐かずに飲み込めよ。
もし全部食べれたら、野菜は全部オマエ等にやるよ。』
青年はそういって、唐辛子を まりさの目の前に置いた。
「……だ、だいじょうぶなのぜ……
さいっじゃくな くそにんげんでも たべられたのぜ。
さいっきょうの まりささまなら、ぜったいに おいしいに きまっているのぜ……」
まりさは唐辛子を凝視しながら言う。
『はやくしろよ。食べないなら いらないってことで野菜は全部人間のな。』
「う！うるさいのぜ！！いまから たべるのぜ！！
…………むーしゃむ………っぐっぶ！！！」
まりさは目と口を閉じ、吐き気を我慢する。
野菜は ゆっくりのために勝手に生えてくるのだ。毒のはずがない。
「むーじゃ………むーじゃ………」
まりさは ゆっくりと唐辛子を噛む。
噛む度に激痛が身体に走り、身体が震えるが、それを必死に我慢する。
「………むーじゃ……ごっぐん………
ゆ……ゆばぁ……ゆばぁ……た、たべだのぜ……」
そして、まりさは遂に唐辛子を食べ終えた。
全身から汗をかき、まりさの身体はウネウネと動いている。
体内の餡子が唐辛子を排出しようと必死に動いているのだ。
『よく食べたな。正直驚いた。』
「ぐ……ぐへへ……ま、まりざは……
まりざは さいっきょうなのぜ……おやざい…ざんは まりざの だべに……」
吐き気を我慢しているまりさの前に青年が唐辛子を てきとうにバラ撒く。
『ほら、お前の野菜だ。好きなだけ食べろ。』
「…………」
まりさは動かない。いや、動けない。
動けば餡子が飛び出すからだ。
『なんだ、いらないんのか？だったら、野菜は全部俺が貰っていくからな。
いいよな？食べないみたいだし、それに、また勝手に生えてくるんだし。』
「だ！だべなのぜ！！ぜんぶ まりざのも………
………ぐ……ぐるじ………あ……あんごが………」
まりさの体内の餡子が逃げ場をもとめ、全身を駆け巡る。
まりさは目と口と あにゃるを必死に閉じる。
餡子脳とはいえ、本能的に餡子をだせば死んでしまうことがを知っているからだ。
『ずいぶんと苦しそうだな、まりさ。
なんでか知っているか？』
「ゆばぁ……ゆばぁ……な、なんでか……ぜ？」
痛みを我慢しながら、まりさが口を開いた。
『それはな、野菜がオマエ等ゆっくりのことが大嫌いだからだよ。
その証拠に野菜を食べたら死にそうになっただろ？』
「う！うぞな……！！っぐっぶ！！！ごっぼ！！ぐべぇえええ！！！」
餡子を吐きかけた まりさを青年が足で押さえつける。
『おっと まだ吐くなよ。死んでもいいけどさ、ここでは止めてくれ。』
青年は足で押さえつけた まりさの脚部に左手をまわし、
右手でまりさを強く押さえながら持ち上げある。
「ぶっぶぶぶぶぅぅうう！！！っぶぅうう！！！っぶぅうぶうぶぅう！！！」
口が開かないせいか、または浮遊感を感じる余裕がないせいか、
お決まりのセリフはない。
青年はウネウネと動いている まりさを畑の山側の入り口に置いた。
『ほら、死ぬならココで死んでくれ。
お前の死臭で ゆっくりよけになるからな。』
－ ッ ポ ー ン ！！
青年の言葉が通じたのか、まりさの両目が飛び出した。
まりさが口と あにゃるを必死に閉じていた為、餡子が眼球を押しのけて飛び出たのだ。
「っゆっばぁああああ！！！！！
っぐっべっぼぉおおおお！！！っげっぼおぉおおおお！！！」
両目が飛び出た激痛から、まりさは絶叫をあげる。が、絶叫は途中から吐餡の音に変わった。
二つの眼孔と口から餡子を噴水のようにまき散らす まりさである。
「………ゆ゛………ゆ゛………」
大量の餡子を失い、全身を痙攣させている まりさに青年が話しかける。
『まりさ、どうやら野菜はオマエ等ゆっくりが嫌いだったみたいだな。』
「………ゆ゛………ゆ゛………」
『聞こえてないかな？ま、どうでもいいか。そこで苦しんでろ。
苦しそうなお前を見た仲間は畑に近づかないだろうし、死ねば死臭で ゆっくりよけになるからな。
はぁ、それにしても また ゆっくりが増えたのか。
本当、野菜も ゆっくりみたいに勝手に生えると生活が楽になるのにな………』
青年はそう言って畑へと向かって歩き出す。
今日は唐辛子の収穫を終えた後は他の畑に農薬を撒く予定がある。
野菜は手入れをキチンとしなければ、収穫できないのからだ。
畑の入り口には、両目がなく、舌をだらしなくだし、全身を痙攣させた まりさが残された。
ゆっくりは餡子を大量に失うと、生命維持のために基礎代謝を下げる性質がある。
これから まりさは暗闇と空腹と動かぬ身体で、
長い時間を独りで ゆっくりと苦しみ抜いて死ぬことになる。
（不思議なことに、昆虫・小動物は生きた ゆっくりを襲わない。）
痛い！何も見えない！！動かない！！声がでない！
死にたい！痛い！死にたい！暗い！死にたい！動かない！
痛い！死にたい！暗い！死にたい!動かない！死にたい！

永遠に続く苦しみの中で、まりさは死ぬことを願うようになった。
そして、死を願いながら、まりさは あることに気がついた。
野菜は勝手に生えてくる。
だが、それは ゆっくりを ゆっくりさせなくするために生えてくることを。
一ヶ月後、野菜を食べたことを後悔しながら まりさは生涯を終えた。

というネタを使ったことがなかったので挑戦してみました。
結果はこのザマですが・・・
