feelに教えてもらったLet's noteのリフレッシュサービス。VGのCF-R1もキーボードとパームレストの塗装が一部剥げてしまって汚くなっていたのでやってみることにしました。WEBで申し込み時に決められた所定の日にパナの担当者が引き取りにやってきて、２日後にはダンボールに梱包されたPCが神戸工場から直接届きました。早い！結果、PCはまるで新品のようにキレイになり、大感激！！特に劣化が目立つとこが新品になるので効果は絶大でした。
今回のキャンペーンの作業内容は前述の部品交換の他、PCの状態を診断してくれるとのこと。実際に、診断書のようなものが添付されてきたのだが、それには「HDDに交替セクタが1022個確認されました。HDDの寿命が短くなりつつあるので常にバックアップすることをおすすめします。」とのこと。
実際このPC、実は購入当初（ヤフオク）からHDDの調子が悪く、突然まったく動かなくなったり、転送に異常に時間がかかったり、ということが度々あったので、この機会HDDも交換してしまうことにしました。
