It's a sort of urban water cooler legend. "Whatever happened to Alvin Peats?" No one knows, but there are lots of theories.
Some say they've heard he's being kept alive by machines, and that he still controls WATIcorp. It's the kind of thing you have a good laugh at.
He wasn't just hooked up to a machine, Damien. He looked like he was a machine. At least, partly so.
I'll have to be careful, though, especially since the worm's still working its way into the core. I can't do anything to draw attention to myself.
When is it going to start transmitting data back to you?
In a day or two. Hopefully. Things are on high alert right now, and every bit of data going in and out of the core is being analysed.
(Yawns)
You must be tired. I'm keeping you up.
I'm sorry, I'm just...
Hey, no, no need to find a hotel. You can stay here. I mean, if you're comfortable with that. I can sleep on the floor.
You really don't have to―
I know. But you've been through a lot, and you're helping me out, so the least I can do is let you sleep in my bed.
(Laughs) Thanks, Damien. If you're okay with me staying here, I will.
Okay, so... Let me get the bed ready for you.
That's okay, I can―
Um. Yeah. Just... I guess you can give me a hand.
Okay. Yes. Great.
By the way, if I'm gone when you wake up tomorrow, don't be alarmed. I have to be at the office quite early.
That's okay. I'll be fine. I'll just stay here.
Good. Let me find you a sheet and cover.

It's closed.
That's the door to the room with the glass walls.
It's a card reader.
That opens up to the loading bay.
It's a heavy duty hook, connected to a winch, which is again connected to the boom.
That's the main entrance.
Oh my God, what did I unleash? That's the freakiest thing I've ever seen.
It's been ten years since I've walked through one of those.
I need to speak with the Guardian before going back to Arcadia.
Swamp City Town
That's one huge dead animal.
The Captain got the ship out of Marcuria just in time. Another few hours, and they would have arrested everyone, I'm sure of it.
I'm so glad to see that Na'ane is safe...though I wonder how she managed to escape the Azadi.
Examine before
Na'ane told me to meet the messenger on the pier.
Examine after
Kara is the closest thing this town has to a mayor. She was elected to head the council last spring.
I think the supplies will improve everyone's morale. Life's been tough this winter, but now there's food for everyone, and medicine for the sick.
The supplies are being distributed around town. We don't want to keep it all in one place, in case of...trouble.
What's that?
Seeing it
The witch is here, as promised. She will bring me the Scorpion, and then my mission will be...completed.
Examine before talk
I need to speak with her, so that she can tell me where to find the Scorpion.
Examine again
What is that?
Spotting the arrow
Rebels. But I'm not here for them. I'm here for the Scorpion.
The supplies made it here. Good. I had no wish for their women and children to starve or to fall ill. Faith or no faith - innocent lives are precious.
April!
MISSING TEXT
I'm here. I have kept my part of the bargain. Now it's your turn.
I have done what you asked of me, Azadi. Your 'Scorpion' waits on that pier. Alone.
Leave. If I ever see you again, my sword will kiss your throat.
For what I have done, I am already dead.
Who are...
You. I remember you. From Marcuria. But you're...
You're the Azadi. What are you doing here? Have you been― Shit. You followed me here.
I swear by my sword, I did not follow you. I came here by...other means.
I wish you no harm, mistress. You spoke to me with honesty back in the city, and I respect that.
So what the hell are you doing here? If you brought soldiers with you... There are civilians here, women...and children.
I did not bring any soldiers. I am alone.
Please. Let me explain. I'm an Apostle. We are...missionaries. We bring the Word of the Goddess to unbelievers.
But we do so with cold steel and swift death instead of sermons and prayers. We are the last resort. And we are feared.
I have never before doubted the righteousness of my mission. The Goddess is the one true deity, and we must bring her light to the darkest places.
And yet... I have seen and heard many things in my brief time here in the Northlands.
I have seen with my own eyes how ignorance and fear are leading some of my people astray, how arrogance and distrust threaten to corrupt our mission.
I have witnessed deeds – deeds of which you spoke so passionately when we first met - that have lifted a veil from my eyes.
Does the Goddess, in her infinite and unquestionable wisdom, truly want us to commit these deeds on sovereign peoples, in these sovereign lands?
Bravo. That's a very convincing speech, 'Apostle'. You almost had me going there for a moment.
I am an assassin, and my mission is plain and undisputable. Only... I believe now that the Goddess has led me here for another reason. Led me to you.
Why else would She have brought us together, first in Marcuria, and now here, if it wasn't to show me – show us – a different path?
Sorry. I don't believe in destiny or divine intervention. Not anymore.
I believe that some things are meant to happen. Call it destiny. Call it the will of the Goddess. Call it chance.
But do not call it coincidence.
So, what now? You expect me to just let you walk out of here, to accept that you've 'seen the light'?
No. Yes. I...don't know what to think anymore. I only wish to speak with you for a little while longer. To understand. To open my heart to a different truth.
I believe the Goddess wishes to speak to me. To me, and not to those who would interpret her Word to suit their needs.
And what's your goddess telling you?
That my path, a path I have never even considered questioning until this moment, may be one that leads into shadows, and not into light.
Look... If you came here to find enlightenment, Azadi, you've come to the wrong person.
The name is Kian, mistress. I cannot claim that I came here to find enlightenment. Quite the opposite.
Yet now I'm starting to see that a great injustice may have been done to the peoples of the Northlands.
You're planning on turning against your own?
I will never take up arms against those I have sworn to protect, but I intend to return to Sadir and inform the Six - our Empresses – about what goes on in the provinces.
Why?
Because it is not right, it is certainly not the will of the Goddess, and it is a betrayal of everything I've been taught to believe in.
I still don't understand...Kian.
Faith, mistress. I feared I was losing it, but I was wrong. My faith is as strong as ever.
I... I guess I owe you a name. I'm April.
April. I am pleased to make your acquaintance.
You shouldn't stay. If anyone sees you...
You will not tell them?
I don't have an easy time trusting anyone, Aza― Kian. But I'm beginning to believe that you're the real thing, an honourable man.
I try to be.
But I still don't understand why you're here. And I don't understand why Na'ane told me that you're―
I knew you were weak, Apostle, but I never imagined you would go so far as to betray your own people.
Vamon? What in the name of the Goddess are you doing?
Your job, Alvane. Destroying the enemy. Or did you forget that was why you were sent here?
There are women and children in this city, Vamon. Civilians!
They're all equal in the eyes of the Goddess, are they not? Terrorists, wives of terrorists, children of terrorists... Sinners. Every one of them.
As for this one... Is this who you were sent to kill?
To...kill?
No. I was about to tell you. I did not know who you were. I came to find the Scorpion, and I found you in his place.
Scorpion... That's― That's the name your people gave me. After I put the fear of the Balance into them.
You're...him?
Your mouth is filled with venom, witch, even to the last. You are truly beneath us.
And you, Alvane...
Arrest him.
Lower your weapon, soldier. I'm an Apostle.
No more, Kian Alvane. You have betrayed the Six, you have strayed from the Path, and you have forsaken the Mission.
You have become soft like a spoiled fruit. You actually empathise with these heathens and murderers.
You, Apostle, have committed a mortal sin. You have lost your Faith.
No, Vamon. It is not I who have strayed from the Path. It is not I who have lost my Faith.
What are we doing to these people? Why are we trespassing on their land? This is not the will of the Goddess.
So now you question your Empresses, too? Your hole grows deeper by the second, Apos― Alvane.
Still, the Goddess is merciful, and so am I. I'll give you one more chance to prove your loyalty and save yourself from eternal damnation.
Do what you came here to do. Kill this murderous witch. Kill the Scorpion.
Just get it over with.
I came here to face the Scorpion, but I didn't know who the Scorpion was. I could never harm you.
No
I have no right to end her life, she was only protecting her people
How do you know that this woman is the Scorpion?
Are you feeble? Or just deaf? She confessed to us.
I am the Scorpion. Do you honestly think I fear death? I've faced it countless times, and I've never blinked.
You should fear death, witch. The Goddess does not smile on murderers and heretics. What stays your blade, Alvane?
Whomever she is, whatever she's done, she does not deserve death. I cannot kill her.
Stall
I need to stall them
Spare her life, Vamon. Please. She has only killed to protect her land and her people.
She has murdered trueborn, Alvane. Her hands reek of their blood. How can you proclaim her innocence when she admits her own guilt so readily?
At least let her stand trial. Let her speak. Let her explain her actions to the Council. Maybe then―
I'm not going to stand in front of your judges and plead for my life. I'd rather die here.
Plead
Her life must be spared
If I do not kill you, he will.
And that makes it all right? I guess the true measure of a man is what he does when a knife is put to his throat.
And you, my friend... You failed.
Don't say that. I have no wish to kill you, but my Mission―
Your 'mission'? You've been blinded by faith, Kian. You can't see wrong from right. I feel sorry for you.
I... I can't. I cannot kill you. You do not deserve to die.
Yes
She has murdered many of my people, and she deserves to die
Very well. You've made your choice.
Kill her.
No!
Please don't tell me you felt for that Goddessless butcher.
What you're doing here is wrong!
What, protecting our people from terrorists? Destroying the enemy's stronghold? Tell me, Kian, what exactly am I doing wrong?
These people are only defending their homes and lands from invaders. We're in the wrong here, not them.
You've fallen far deeper than I thought possible, Alvane. It will be entertaining to see you stand trial.
It will not happen. When the Emissary―
The Emissary was the one who ordered you arrested, Alvane, after you let the innkeeper and that smuggler vessel go.
It was clear to the Mistress that your loyalties were no longer with the Empire. Although, ironically enough, you were the one who led us here.
I am sure that will count in your favour at the trial. Maybe they'll even let your body lie in a marked grave.
Take him away.
I'll make you pay for this, Vamon. I swear by the Goddess, I will not rest until your beating heart is in my hand.
Such unpleasantness...
Kill them all. Burn the city down. Leave no prisoners.
Na'ane?
April-an.
It brightens my heart and spirit to see you here, safe and in good health.
We heard that you had escaped Marcuria, but I was worried nonetheless. And now the stars have brought you back to us.
How did you get out of Marcuria? I heard they shut all the gates and posted guards at all exits.
As a stowaway on a tradeship bound for Corasan, and on a leapfur's back north along the old paths. A Zhid was generous enough to share her mount with me.
I'm glad you're safe. Good thing Brynn and Chawan had just left with the supplies. They were the lucky ones.
The stars shine on all of us, April-an.
What about our friends at the Journeyman? What about Benrime? I'm sure they don't feel so lucky right now.
Fortune often has a dark side. But there may still be a chance to aid the innkeeper.
What? How?
I have just been told that someone arrives from Marcuria with word of Benrime. He wishes to speak with you.
Who?
A stranger...a friend. A messenger. He wishes to meet with you on the west pier. He will speak with you, and no one else.
And you're sure this man is a friend? How did he find us?
Would I lie to you, April-an?
I'm sorry, Na'ane. Of course not. I trust you. I'll go right away.
Listen, if it turns out this man has important information, and I have to go back to rescue―
I would not let you walk alone, April-an. Go now. He arrives soon.
You must go to the west pier. The messenger will meet you there shortly.
We'll need to make another run south before the ice breaks, though I'm guessing Marcuria is out of the question.
We lost some good people. We got careless.
Bah! We were as careful as we could be. We just got unlucky. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
Let's just hope we got enough intelligence out of it to justify the losses.
I wish I could say that's the case. The fact is, they're getting too strong for us. They tore us apart down there, easy as―
Ah, quit your whining, woman! The Raven I know is tougher than that! There's enough doom and gloom in this place already.
Which is why I'm going back.
To Marcuria? Are you sure that's wise?
We stay here, we go there - it's all the same. They're coming, and they won't stop, not until we strike at their heart. Marcuria. The tower.
Ha! The tower! It'll take more than you and your band of merry rebels to topple that one, Raven! And even if you do, you think that'll stop them?
No, we need to stay strong, build our allegiances, recruit more people, and keep the enemy from our doorstep. Time and patience will decide the victor.
We don't have time. Look at what happened in Marcuria! We have to act now. We have to take the war to them.
I'm inclined to agree, Raven, but we're not strong enough. Not yet. If you stay here, we can train more people, build our strength, and―
And talk about how, some day, we'll crush the enemy and take back our lands and our cities.
That's what we do best. Talk. They murdered my friends, they arrested our most trusted ally in Marcuria, and they're probably moving north even now.
And you say we should wait? I'm done waiting.
Bah! The Azadi don't have a clue where we are. Trust me, Raven, we're safe here.
Besides, no one but me and my boys can navigate the rivers and swamps between us and the Bay of Fire.
Even if the Azadi should learn of our whereabouts, the scouts will give us two days' warning. We'll sink their boats before they even know what hit 'em!
Even so, I can't just sit here and wait. I have to do something.
I swear, Raven, you'll get yourself killed one of these days. Huh. Sometimes I wonder if that's not what you want.
But if it's south you want to go, if you want to take your war to the Azadi, then fine, you'll have my boat. I'll take you where you want to go.
Now, you'll have to excuse me. We still have to unload the grain and move all the supplies into storage.
I'll come by later and give you a hand. I just have a few people I need to speak with first.
Enemy soldiers!
You will be with your Goddess soon enough!
I'll take a hundred of you to the grave with me!
Kara.
A moment, April.
Please make sure the herbs are distributed to the lieutenants. They are each responsible for their group getting the medicine they need.
April. Thank the Balance you escaped Marcuria, and that Brynn and Chawan made it here with the supplies. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Kara, about Benrime. We need to do―
She put her life on the line for us. We won't forget that anytime soon. We'll sing her song at the tables tonight.
The Azadi will be keeping her alive until they can ship her west. They like to have a show trial before executing their prisoners.
If I can take a dozen people with me south, I can―
You intend to take on the entire Azadi army by yourself? No, April. This war will have its victims, and you'll have to learn to live with that.
You may have a death wish, but not everyone shares your lack of faith in the future. In time, we shall prevail.
I've dedicated my life to fighting the Azadi, Kara. What makes you say that I have no faith?
You've already given up your life. You don't fight because you want to destroy them. You fight to destroy yourself and your demons.
Granted, your ferocity and guidance have strengthened us. The enemy fear and curse your name, and you've made them tread more cautiously in the north...
But both you and I know you're not doing this for any greater cause. You're doing this because it's the only thing you have left.
And I can't have you taking our people with you on a suicide mission.
So we let Benrime rot in prison, is that it? We let them take her to their country, where she'll die because she helped us?
Yes. We do. Benrime wasn't― isn't stupid. She knew the risks, she knew it was a dangerous game to play, and she played it as safe as she could. Unlike you.
I don't accept that. I can't leave her to die.
Accept it or not, you're not taking anyone south. We have enough trouble protecting our homes and our supplies. We can't afford another setback.
They're not your people. They make their own decisions.
That they do. And you may find that, for once, you're on your own.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have other matters to attend to. I'll see you at dinner tonight, April. And thank you again for bringing us the supplies.
Without them, we wouldn't have lasted through the winter.
There's no point. She won't understand.
I would just be wasting my time.
Azadi!
There are too many of them! Run!
Where did they come from?
Under attack
I know they're running short of warm clothes in Snapjaw's Cove, Jiran. We need to send a boat over there with coats, shoes, and blankets.
And in Bunnvik, they are fighting a fierce fever. We need to get them some medicines, and soon. It's not safe for them to travel to Corasan any longer.
There are more and more Azadi in that city. It's only a question of time before the council announces their allegiance to the Empire.
We've all lost our homes and our lands, but thanks to you, Raven, there's still hope that we will see them again some day.
The Azadi will never find us here...will they? I don't want to run again. I'm tired of running.
How's Marcuria doing? I wonder if I'll ever be able to freely walk her streets again...
Who are you? I haven't seen you before. So many newcomers... Will the Azadi ever stop moving eastward?
You must be one of the Southlanders from Ge'en. Have the enemy taken over your lands as well? We need more of you to come here.
That's a great outfit. Where did you get it?
The enemy's attacking!
It's the Azadi army!
They're here! The enemy's here!
My entire family was taken from me by the Azadi. For every loved one, I will slay a hundred of them. A thousand!
Thank the Balance you all made it home, Raven. We've seen this war claim too many lives already.
I never wanted this, but the enemy left us with no choice but to take up arms against them.
To April
I haven't seen you around the campfire, handsome. Are you from the eastern fringes of the swamp? I think I would have noticed you.
I don't talk to strangers. You never know who to trust.
Did you hear about Raven and her team? They brought the supplies with them from Marcuria. There's going to be a feast tonight!
To Kian
The enemy!
How did they find us?
The Azadi are here!
Azadi
Don't let anyone escape!
Round them up and kill them, every one of them!
Leave no one alive...not even the women or children! They are all heathens in the eyes of the Goddess!
There are more over here!
Break down this door, soldier! Swiftly!
Over here, boys! Hurry!
For the Goddess!
Victory!
Your war is at an end, rebel scum!
Stand down!
Battle cries
Yes, sir.
Don't move.
Stand down.
As you please.

Once
The city's been added to many times over the years. Every time I return, there's another new addition.
There are five separate sections of the city, and you can only get from one to the other via boat. That makes it hard for an enemy to mount a coordinated attack.
Even here, people keep their doors closed and bolted. The Azadi have taught us to fear and distrust each other.
Examine one
Boats are very important here. You cannot reach another section of the city without one.
That's the west pier, where the messenger is supposed to meet me.
They're beautiful. I like watching starflies. They calm me down.
It's hard to believe that anyone would build a city like this. It's a long way from the white walls and gleaming towers of Sadir.
This city is larger than I would have guessed. There must be thousands of people living here. Old, young...children.
These doors do not look very secure...but in a remote place like this, they don't have to be.
Boats must be important to get around this city. Only parts of it are covered by the bridges and walkways.

I promised Liv I'd stop by her shop after the gym. She wants to show me 'something'. It's not that she tries to be cryptic - she just can't help it. Whatever she wants to show me, I'm sure it'll be interesting. Liv rarely disappoints.
I should stop by the shop. Liv wanted to show me 'something'. It's not that she tries to be cryptic - she just can't help it. Whatever she wants to show me, I'm sure it'll be interesting. Liv rarely disappoints.
I ran by Liv without saying hello! What was I thinking? That was rude. I'll have to go back to the shop later to make it up to her - but I'll wait until after the gym. Chances are she's already forgotten all about it, anyways. She's not exactly the resentful type.
What's happened to Reza? Where is he? No one knows where he is - not even Martin. I can't get a hold of him, and the EYE's looking for him. I have to help him somehow. I have to find him.
Reza left a message for me with Wonkers, something about a hidden safe in his apartment. Lucia, Reza's Watilla, can open it for me if I tell her the correct codeword. Whatever's in that safe, maybe it'll lead me to him...or at least point me in the right direction.
Olivia gave me a hack that can be used to disable locks. I'll need that to get into Reza's apartment.
Shit. They've placed a surveillance spider in Reza's place. I'll need to find a way to disable that to get into his safe. Also, the spider fried Lucia. Hopefully, I'll be able to fix her.
I took a close look at the spider. It has a logo that looks like a lion's head. I've seen that before on other robots, but I can't remember which company it belongs to. Liv might be able to make use of that information.
Good job, Zoë! You're well on your way to becoming a secret agent. Okay, so now I need to find a way to fix Lucia before she can open the safe for me.
Lucia's battery and processing unit have been completely fried by the spider. I must find replacements for both of them.
I got a new Watilla battery from Liv. Now I just need a functioning processing unit. Where can I find a working Watilla?
I 'borrowed' Wonkers' processing unit. Poor guy, I feel terrible. All I need now is a working battery
I have both the battery and the brain. I ought to be able to get Lucia back on her feet again now. Fingers crossed.
Lucia's awake. I'll just need to tell her the codeword, and she'll open Reza's secret safe...I hope.
That was close. I have become a magnet for trouble...or, more accurately, Reza's gotten himself involved in something really bad, and I just happen to be in the wrong places at the wrong times. These past two days have had enough close shaves to last me a lifetime...and if it keeps going like this, it'll be a very short lifetime
Is it just me, or did that cat look a little creepy? There was something odd about its eyes... They looked a bit glassy.
Reza was going to Newport in North America - to a place called Venice - to meet someone called Charlie at The Fringe...whatever and wherever that may be. If that's where he's headed, I'm going after him. He definitely needs my help
I'm here. Newport. Venice. Now to find The Fringe and this Charlie person. Maybe one of the locals could point me in the right direction?
That Chinese guy told me where to find The Fringe. What was it again... The other side of the Crossroads, and through Via Milano to Florence Square?
Reza's okay, thank God. It appears that he was planning to break into a place called the Victory Hotel. That was last night...but it's the only clue I have to go on. I have to follow him. He could still be there.
That girl again! This is not viral marketing, that's for sure. She's talking to ME. I don't know who's doing it, or how, but someone's definitely trying to tell me something
Marcus promised to meet me later tonight at the The Fringe. I guess I'll just go there and wait for him. I need to speak with Charlie, too. The only thing in that wardrobe was the picture of him and the two girls. I don't see how that has anything to do with Reza or the scary girl on the screen, but it's all I have to go on.
I should try and call Reza again. Charlie said I could use one of the VIP rooms upstairs.
There must be a way to get to the top of that waterwheel. Looks like that's the only way out of here.
Dream or no dream - drug-induced or not - I have to deal with the 'reality' of this place, and that means doing what this innkeeper is telling me to do. She seems friendly enough
The innkeeper can't make any mulled wine until she gets her delivery of spices, so I'll need to go to the South Gate Market to pick them up for her
More running around! The spice merchant hasn't received his delivery of spices this morning, so I agreed to pick it up for him
I got the spices. Now I'll just have to run back - again! - to the spice merchant to give him the spices and get the innkeeper's delivery..
I have the innkeeper's delivery of Mrs Mullins' Mixed Spices. Time to get back to the inn to get that mulled wine for Blind Bob.
I should get the mulled wine to Blind Bob.
I found Crazy Clara, but she's not being very communicative. She misses her 'baby' - a pet of some kind - which, as far as I can tell, was taken by the soldiers and put in a cage
Clara seems very happy to have her baby back, and now I know where to find Minstrum Magda. She's the soup lady down in the marketplace - the one I've passed by several times already, go figure. Time to go talk to her.
That boy really wants me to follow him. If he can get me in touch with April, I don't think I have a choice
Was it all just a dream, or did I really go to this 'Arcadia' place? Who knows, and it doesn't matter. My priority is findin
Wati City, Japan. God, it's freezing
Reza's contact is a Damien Cavanaugh, and he works right here at WATI HQ. Liv said he's most likely at work today. All I need to do is find a way into the heavily fortified headquarters of one of the world's largest corporations, search through their offices - which are no doubt guarded by aggressive bots - and convince this Damien guy to talk to me
All right, this is it, I've completed the transition from bored college drop-out to secret agent. My mission? To infiltrate a high security lab, insert a worm into an organic computer, and get out undetected
Okay, that's one thing crossed off the list. Now I need to find a capsule to put this worm into. Damien said to look in th
Next, I need to scan both the worm and myself. The scanners are in the medlab.
Now I have to find the key to get into the Dreamcore. Damien told me there would be a datakey in the security office somewhere, and he'd make sure the guard would be away from his post.
There's heavy security in the security office - that didn't come as a big surprise - so now I have to shut down the grid. The only way to do that is from inside the security office, using a spider
The security office should be accessible now. I'll need to find the datakey to unlock the door to the Dreamcore.
This is it. Time to enter the core room itself and insert the worm into the Dreamcore. I'll need to keep an eye out for people. If they see me, they'll trigger the security routines.
The alarm's gone off! I hope it wasn't me. I need to find a way out of here - but I won't be able to get out the same way I got in. The elevator's probably my best bet at this point.
Why did the girl send me up here? There must be something she wants me to do...
Back in this strange place again... This definitely feels like a dream. I'm not cold at all, and everything's sort of...warped
I'm in prison
Yay! April has found me, and she's sent her friend Crow to help me. Crow's a talking bird. (Yeah, I'm starting to get used to the weirdness of this place. Too used to it.
Crow's delivered the goods. I should be able to melt that lock with the acid potion, and knock the guard out with the smoke bomb. I'll just have to get close enough to hit my target, but not so close that he notices me. So, Zoë, stay low and aim well.
The guard's out of commission and the coast is clear. Now I'll have to find a way out of this horrible place.
There's no way past the guard on the floor below, but he's waiting for a sandwich to be delivered. I don't know if that information will be helpful to April, but it can't hurt. If nothing else, I guess it could get her into the building. That's a start.
Day two aboard the airship, and I think I'm starting to smell. Other than that, it's going well. Westhouse and Crow are good company, and the hammock is reasonably comfortable
This city is completely amazing. Nothing I've ever seen can compare with it. I wish I had a camera..
Where am I? I thought the White Dragon would send me back to my world, but this definitely isn't it. So what am I doing here?
The virus originated from below my current position. There must be a basement of some kind. I need to find a way down there.
Home again
The EYE has sealed off Reza's apartment. I'll probably need Liv's help to get through the lock. She's the master of breaking into stuff.
Liv gave me a hack to use on the spider. If I'm successful with that, the spider will be permanently disabled.
Liv told me that I'll need to stay quiet around the spider, or it'll wake from its sleep mode. If that happens, I'll have to stay completely still. It reacts to sound and movement, but it's otherwise quite stupid. To disable it, I'll need to find a way to expose it to running water.
I have to get Reza's notebook to Liv.
Okay, now I'm running REALLY late for the gym! I shouldn't waste any more time. Jama will give me hell...in that quietly menacing way of hers.
That thing with the screens... Am I the only one who's seen it? And what's with that girl? If it's viral marketing, it's not very effective, just...freaky

The intrusion into Dreamcore originated from inside that abandoned factory building. So whatever's causing the Static, whoever that girl is who keeps haunting me - the answers are here, all of them
Damien promised me he'd be here when I woke up... What's happened to him? I hope WATIcorp didn't find the worm.

Talk to
Crow left for the South Gate Market to find Westhouse. I'll need to go there to meet them both.
I told Crow I wanted to walk around a bit before we go look for this Westhouse guy. I'll need to return to him when I'm ready.
Where am I? What is this place? I must be dreaming. This can't be real. It just can't
Great. Turns out Blind Bob doesn't know where Minstrum Magda is, so he told me to go see someone called Crazy Clara who lives up 'Crab Bend', wherever that may be
That 'Theoretically' Blind Bob guy wants some mulled wine, made with Mrs Mullins' Mixed Spices. Apparently, only the best will do even when you're living on the streets.
Just your basic console.
Look at back
There's an icon here that says 'hallway'.
Look at front
There's a corridor back there.
Examine closed
There's no pad. The doors are probably controlled from the console.
Try to open
There's probably a storage room back there.
Examine door closed
The door's got an electronic lock.
Examine door closed again
The doors are jammed and the circuitry has been EMP'ed.
The pressure's been released. I should be able to open the doors now.
The cover's loose. I should be able to open it.
There's a handle with a label that says 'pressure release'.
It's glowing like a torch, but there's no fire or heat.
On stick first
I can hear ticking. I think there's some sort of clockwork mechanism inside. Maybe that's what's generating electricity.
On stick second
It's cold and smooth, like an egg. And it's ticking like clockwork.
In inventory
It looks like a machine with a big wheel and a socket on top. I wonder what it does...and if it still works.
Without egg first
It's definitely mechanical. And old. Who built these things?
Without egg second
That egg thing fit right into the socket.
