**概要
本作のオープニングテーマ。
『ペルソナ3』の顔とも言える楽曲で、直訳すると&font(b){「恐怖を燃やせ」}。
騙し絵のようなスタイリッシュな映像と共に現れたこの曲は多くのファンの心をつかんだ。
オシャレでCOOLなイントロから一転して攻撃的なサビへと繋がるのが特徴で、歌を担当した川村ゆみ氏も
>私にとっては、ありえないKey（高音）で叫ばされ、まるで二重人格のような明暗のコントラストに悩んだ曲。
と語っており、実際に歌ってみるとかなり難しいことがわかる。
アレンジアルバムで聴くことができる本楽曲のフル版は、
オープニングの歌い方をそのままに、フルバージョンにアレンジしたクオリティの高いもので、
ゲーム版と比較しても違和感がなく評価が高い。
『ペルソナ4』のアニメにおいて15話のオープニング演出として原曲がそのまま使用され、
『PERSONA3 THE MOVIE』ではアレンジ版が使用された。
そして今作の最終イベント戦において、本曲に攻撃的なラップを加え、
サビの部分を中心にアレンジした&font(b){「 Burn My Dread -Last Battle- 」}が流れるのだが…
実はこの曲、&font(b){このゲームを起動してニューゲームを選択したのち、本編で使用されるどの曲よりも真っ先に聴くことになる曲}である。
このラストバトル直前に挿入されるイベントムービー（使用曲：決意）も印象的であり、
そのムービーから切り替わるようにこの曲が派手に流れ出す演出は、
イベント戦での数々の演出も含めて本作でも高い評価を得ているポイントであり、
最大の盛り上がりを魅せる見所と言っても過言ではないだろう。
