三鷹寮に入寮して、まず何をすべきでしょうか。
入寮手続き
配布or郵送された書類に書いてあるとおり、寮に直接来て手続きをすることになります。鍵はこのとき渡されます。
Wi-Fiについて
このとき、和光通信とインターネットの契約ができます。月2800円の前払い制です。速度は最大10Mbpsとそこまで早くはないです。追加料金を払えば30Mbpsまで上げられます。
NTTとも契約できるらしいですが、ほぼ情報がありません。
自分で設置する際は、新学期は工事の日程が詰まっており、使えるようになるまで２～３週間はかかるので気を付けてください。

Dormitory entrance procedures
Entrance procedures(including getting your room's key) for the Mitaka Dormitory will be done at the common hall of the dormitory the day you move in.

Regarding Wifi
During the moving in period, it is possible to forge a contract withe Wakou Tsushin Company for wifi in your room. They usually set up a stand in the common room during the said period.
The wifi speed is 10Mbps at max. If you pay extra, it is possible to increase speed upto 30Mbps max.

買い物
必要な家電や生活必需品を今のうちに買ってしまいましょう。近所に100均があるので、忘れていてもなんとかはなりますが。

- 冷蔵庫
ないと食品が腐ってしまいますもんね。家電量販店(一番近くはコジマ)などで買うことになると思いますが、届くまで時間がかかるので早めに買いにいきましょう！入寮する前に買っておくのもよし。 - 延長コード
タコ足、特にUSB給電口がついているものがあると便利です。あとは、共用棟を使うとき必要になるかもしれません。
【キッチン系】
- 鍋やフライパン
IH対応の物を買いましょう。 - 食器
IHコンロが一つしかないので、そんなに多くは必要ありません。

- ハンガー
意外と忘れがちです。しっかり買っておきましょう。 - 突っ張り棒
洗濯物を掛けたり、新たな収納スペースを作りだしたりと、色々使えます。 - カーテン
カーテンは備え付けではないので、ほしい人は買っておきましょう。 - 椅子カバー
備え付けの椅子が汚い場合は必要になるかもしれません。 - 足拭きマット
シャワールームの外に置いておくと便利です。珪藻土バスマットがおすすめです。
【その他】
- 虫よけ関係
ブラックキャップがあればゴキブリ対策になります。虫コナーズがあれば、網戸のない窓を開けてもある程度は虫の侵入を防げます。

It is definitely recommended to get yourself a fridge. You can buy one at an electronics store(the closest being Kojima) when you get here, but since it takes a while for delivery, buying one in advance could also be a good idea. If you are in luck, you can grab a second hand one for free from the common room, but the numbers are very limited.
- Kitchen Utensils
Since the dormitory kitchen has only one stove, you don't need many utensils. The stove is an induction stove, so make sure to buy utensils suited to that.
A cheap place to get kitchen utensils would probably be Don Quijote.

自転車
近くの自転車屋さんでぜひとも買っておきましょう。吉祥寺まで自転車で移動できるほか、近所のスーパーやコンビニにすぐに行けるようになり、少し足を伸ばしてドンキや市役所にも行きやすくなります。
