The Magna Cum Laude band was founded in 1999. Members of the group are Szabó Tibi guitar, Kara Misa bass, Mező Misi vocal and Kilián Imre drums. They become widely known in 2006 in Hungary, when their first album, Every Station, came out. It was a golden disc and they made more videoclips too. The bass of the group who write the lyrics was the Librettist of the Year in Hungary.
This song is like a dream. It's very relaxing. There's no time, no work, no any problem, only childish pure love. Relax and dream about love and her now!

Söprik az utcát (Sweeping the street) / Cotton Club Singers

Cotton Club Singers is one of my favorite hungarian jazz group. They was founded in 1995, and was awarded the Emerton Prize in 1999 in Hungary. In the four singer band the 2 girls changed two times, altogether 3 girls left the group. Zseda (who was introduced in the 2nd JaHunTai show) and Orsi made solo career. In 2007 the two new female singer joined the group and did little changes in tone of their music.
The new album is dedicaded to the best hungarian comic legend ever: Géza Hofi, who died in 2002. His soft political humour was very popular mainly in 70s, 80s at the change of hungarian regime pediod. He wrote many songs too.
This unique Hofi song is not on the album but CCS maybe sing it on numerous fantastic live concerts. If you want to hear them and you visit to Budapest let's go to the Old Man's Pub on Sunday night.

Rozsdás szög (Rusty nail) / Presser Gábor

Presser, one of the biggest living music legend, composer, pianist, singer was born in 1948. He was the member of Omega between 1969-1971, after that he founded his own group called Locomotiv GT. In the 80s he made solo albums and join the hungarian theatrical life too, composed songs to musicals and rock-ballets. In 1997 and 2002 LGT published new records again and gave popular concerts.
This song is one of his famous hits. He sings: "A rusty nail in my heart and the hammer is in your hand" ... "You hit me and I hit the piano, what would this song like if it goes on this way". I think it will good!

Észosztó nagy szájhős (Big loudmouth) /Palya Bea

Palya Bea is one of the most many-sided young performer of the hungarian music life. She sings hungarian, gipsy, bulgarian, indian and other folk songs in her charming style. She acts worldmusic, jazz and sing poems too. Nowadays she has a will of her own and make unique albums. One of her last hits recorded in France in 2008, the album called "Adieu Les Complexes".
"Észosztó nagy szájhős" is the 6th song on this album. She builds on folk but wrotes her own lyrics from personal experiences.

Famous / Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric

"Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric" was founded in 2005 in Budapest. The leader of the group, Barabás Lőrinc (trumpet) show his talent not only in Hungary but all over Europe and beyond in many band and style in last years. Their style is mix of jazz, hiphop, dub, reggae and elektronic music.
The song called "Famous" was the leader of the toplists for weeks in december of 2007 from album called "Ladal". The vocal is performed by MC Sina (a half-ghanaian singer with hungarian mother) and MC Kemon (a grenadaian rapper, who live in Hungary). So it's a very colourful jazzy music.

Könnyű álmot hozzon az éj (Let the night brings sweet dreams) / Charlie

Charlie is one of the best hungarian musicians. He was born in 1947. He had many groups and he worked abroad in 80s. After that he came back home and in 1994 starts solo carrier. He's very popular in Hungary and foreign countries too, because of his calm and comforting jazz music, his meaningful lyrics, and his unique, hoarse but pleasant voice. He awards many prizes in Hungary, published golden discs and gives many fantastic full house concerts.
This song is a lullaby. Listen and let your dream sweet:

The night falls to the gray walls,
Somewhere a child starts to cry
I hear his mother sings to silence him
I listen to it at the opened window
and at last I starts to sing it with her

Let the night brings sweet dreams
Lull him to sleep fresh Danubian wind
Sleep little man, lets sleep!

Dream about swing and sandbox
Dream about meadow, little creek
Sleep little man, lets sleep!

Look at the roof, the moon is dancing to you
The shining stars looks down on you
At the dark riverside a sleepy frog sits
A little bird noiselessly slips
Look, it also flys to home
