The room next to yours contains a Thermoblobby, who will do his best to kill you with his fiery, gooey attacks.
Before you go in there and deliver a Heroic Beatdown, you need to find protection.

Not surprisingly, these are called resistances.

Equip the Ring of Ash in your equipment screen.

Equipping the ring has given you two points of Conflagratory resistance.
This means that you can absorb two points of Conflagratory damage before it starts to affect you.

For instance, suppose a monster hits you for two crushing, and two conflagratory damage.
With the Ring of Ash equipped, you would only receive the two points of crushing damage.
That's a 50 percent savings!
