概要
デビルメイクライシリーズの第5作目。今までのキャラの設定や世界観を一新している。
音楽は海外のミュージシャンが作曲しており、ノルウェーのバンド「Combichrist」が戦闘曲を、オランダのバンド「NOISIA」がそれ以外を中心に担当している。
そのため「Combichrist」のものと「NOISIA」のものの2つのサントラが存在している。
