概要
『フロントライン：フュエル・オブ・ウォー』の流れを汲むFPSゲーム。
シナリオは、『地獄の黙示録』や『コナン・ザ・グレート』など往年の有名映画脚本を数多く担当したジョン・ミリアス。
特筆すべきは、金正恩が指導する未来の北朝鮮(正確には韓国と統合してアジア諸国を取り込んだ大朝鮮連邦)がアメリカを侵略するというぶっ飛んだシナリオ。
朝鮮人民軍がアメリカ人を虐殺するシーンなど、特に過激な描写が多い。その為か、例によって韓国では発禁指定タイトルとなっている。
ゲーム制作当初は金正恩が表舞台に出ていないため、顔立ちのいい役者を使ったゲームトレーラーを作ったが、金正恩が表舞台に出るや、実在の人物に近い容姿の役者に即作りなおしたり、
金正日前総書記の死をいち早く予言(ゲーム内設定では2012年死去、史実では2011年末死去)したりと、様々な逸話を持つゲームである。
