概要
ケイブ、ライジングのシューティングゲームにインスパイアを受けたという本作。
制作が海外サークルながら、日本産のような安定感がある縦シューティングゲームとなっている。
ゲーム部分の爽快感もかなりのものだが本格的ゆえに難易度も結構なものなので歯応え十分。
特徴的なキャラのその装いやゲーム中の色使いなど全体的に冬を思わせるデザインに、透明な響き、ハイテンションになるBGMの相乗効果はマッチしており中毒性も高い。
ブラックレーベルバージョンの開発が決定していたが難航し、2020年にv1.12として楽曲を先行実装。
2024年にはいわゆるブラックレーベルにあたる「BLUE REVOLVER DOUBLE ACTION」が無料アップデートで配信開始。

はがね氏による新規サウンドトラックを適用して遊ぶことができる。
