本作のテーマソングにして、星のカービィシリーズ初となる主題歌である。
ボーカル曲としては『スーパーカービィハンターズ』のエンディング曲「グリーンツリーメモリーズ from 星のカービィ」以来であり、シリーズ2曲目に当たる。
元々『スーパーカービィハンターズ』の時点から作曲の計画があり、サウンドで新しい事にチャレンジしたかった事とかといって突然の歌声にビックリされ過ぎない様にカービィらしさを出来るだけ担保していく様に慎重に動いていた事が「ニンテンドードリーム 2022年6月号」でのインタビューで明かされている。
この事から「グリーンツリーメモリーズ from 星のカービィ」は本曲への布石として作曲された事がうかがえる。
更には『星のカービィ ロボボプラネット』の頃から一つずつ準備をしていた事まで明かされており、「銀河に名立たるハルトマン」や『星のカービィ スターアライズ』の「Prayer song to God」「組曲：星羅征く旅人」も同様の可能性がある。
また本作のエンディングでもこの曲が流れるが、1番のみ流れたオープニングに対してこちらはフル演奏となっており、歌詞の全貌がここで明かされる。
そのためオープニングの「WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD！」に対して、こちらのエンディングは「WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD！(Full)」と別曲扱いになる。
また本作のサウンドテストに当たる「町かどワドライブ」には、インストルメンタル版の「WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD！(Bonus Track)」も収録されている。
『星のカービィ 30周年記念ミュージックフェス』では最後の演目としてスペシャルライブが開かれ、「グリーンツリーメモリーズ from 星のカービィ」を大本眞基子氏が歌った後に何とNEICHEL御本人が登場。
「WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD！」の1番を異世界言語で歌った後、2番は日本語の歌詞を大本氏とのデュエットで歌うと言うサプライズを披露。
ミュージックフェスのトリに相応しい熱い演目となった。
