- Chemistry Bungles refer to the many instances where groups consisting of Alliance Number 1 members screw up various Chemistry required practicals. The word "bungle" is taken directly from Chemistry teacher Mrs.Barton, who used this word to indicate a faulty practical.
- In the first bungle, D.Golding created a results table which measured in 10 second intervals the volume of a gas produced in a reaction. Unfortunately, the table was 60 seconds too long and thus caused misinterpretation within the group consisting S.Moroné and O.Hill, leading to faulty data. Here, Hydrochloric Acid was also spilled all over D.Golding's book.
- In the second bungle, Sulfur Dioxide gas, which causes respiratory issues in high concentrations, was inhaled by O.Hill, regardless of others' admonition. In this same experiment, L.Braschi reported he had managed to spill both reactants of the reaction onto his hands, thus meaning Sulfur Dioxide gas and particles of elemental Sulfur were actively being produced on his hands.
- In the third bungle, 6th March 2025, the required practical involved measuring the volume of Hydrogen gas produced in a reaction by measuring volume of water displaced by the gas, taking place in an upturned measuring cylinder filled with water placed in a tub of water. After successfully heating the acid to the correct temperature, dropping in the final reactant and starting the stopwatch, it seemed as if the lesson would be at last void of bungles. However, even after 30 seconds, no water was displaced. Bubbles began forming on the water in the tub instead of the cylinder. To S.Moroné, A.Emery and D.Golding (L.Braschi was once again forced to work in a separate group)'s dismay, O.Hill informed them that the measuring cylinder was in fact simply upside down and not filled with water, i.e, full of air, meaning 0 gas could be collected. Thus, the four unfortunate Alliance Number 1 members attained 0 data, and were saved by L.Braschi's data. Once again, the entirety of D.Golding's Chemistry book was found covered in Hydrochloric Acid near the end of the lesson. This is reminiscent of D.Golding's Biology book, of which the cover paper is torn and thus is flapping comically off the book.
- On another practical in Chemistry on 13th March 2025, all 4 members of Alliance Number 1's group spilled Hydrochloric Acid on themselves (L.Braschi on hand and leg, S.Moroné on hand, A.Emery on hand, and O.Hill on hand as well as allegedly in the mouth). Furthermore, this practical involved a balance shared by two groups. O.Hill, half way through the practical, removed a piece of wire that had been resting on the balance the entire time as of far, jeopardising the accuracy of not only Alliance Number 1's group's data but of Alliance Number 4's group also, due to the shared balance.
